The Unintentional Meet ✔️

4. First day

Inaya's POV

I woke up from my sleep at 6am. I barely slept because i was super nervous as today is first day of my university. The thought of meeting new people and adjusting in a new environment is making me giddy.

I got up and took a warm shower to relax my self. Did my skincare and went to my cupboard for a suitable outfit.

I choose a white sweater and tucked it in brown pants paired with my white sneakers. I left my hair open for today.

I also called ami and talked for a bit with her and nano.

Then i checked my bag for the last time and went downstairs for breakfast.

"Aslamalaikum everyone" i greeted khala,uncle and bhai. "Walaikumaslam beta come have breakfast" khala said.

Soon Alizeh also came and we were having breakfast while talking a little.

Then it was almost time for university so me and Alizeh left with bhai in his car. We were just talking about random things when car came to a stop.

All the anxiety came rushing throught me and i clutched Alizeh's hand tightly.

"Don't worry inu I'll be there with you" alizeh tried to comfort me. "I know zey but you know na how i am" i said. "It's ok come lets go now" she said.

We got out of the car and went towards the university.

A small gasp left my mouth after taking in the building. I seriously couldn't believe that i was finally here. My dream was finally coming true.

We went inside and there were many people going here and there. We went to the office and got our schedules. Me and Alizeh has same first class so i was a little relieved that i won't be alone.

We went towards our lockers. Soon the bell rang and it was time for our first class. So went inside the classroom. The professor was still isn't here. So we settled in our chairs.

Soon the professor came and as it was the first class so there wasn't that much work. He just gave us a little assignment.

The class was over. And alizeh had different class this time so we parted our ways. When i went inside the class i settled into one of the chairs in the middle row near window.

I was in my own thoughts waiting for the class to start when a girl settled into the chair besides me. "Hello are you new here?" she politely asked. I moved my gaze towards her and she was so cute and beautiful. She had mid length wavy hair. "Yes today's my first day" i said. "Ohh mine too so nice to meet you" she said getting excited.

Usually I'm very shy around new people but this girl was giving such good vibes. We did introductions and her name was Eman. She is also from Pakistan but her family moved to London when she was young.

We became friends instantly and this would my first time making a new friend so soon. And she was such a lovely girl i told her about myself a little. And also about Alizeh she asked to hang out with us if we have no problem. And i agreed instantly.

The class ended and it was finally time for break. Me and Eman went towards our lockers. We found Alizeh there too. I introduced her and Eman to each other. Then we three went towards cafeteria together.

We talked while eating our lunch and we bonded alot. Eman was such a sweetheart

We still had some time before classes so i suggested to go to the library. I was so excited to visit the library and they agreed. We went towards the library. And i think this will probably my favourite place in the whole university.

We went separate ways and explored the library. I was searching for a book which i really wanted to read.

I took out a book from the shelves but my gaze was met with a pair of eyes through the space from where i took out the book.

Those eyes. I don't know what was happening to me but as i locked my gaze in those eyes my breath hitched. Those were the most beautiful greenish blue orbs i've ever seen. They were like a deep ocean and i found myself drowning in them. This has never happened to me before. But this time i felt such emotions i've never felt.

We were just gazing into each others eyes without blinking when i heard Alizeh and was brought back to the earth. "There you are lets go its almost time for our class" she said. Making my chain of thoughts to break. I nodded and ran towards her.

For the rest of the day i couldn't forget a certain pair of ocean like orbs. Soon the day came to an end.

We bid bye to Eman and waited for bhai to come. He came soon and we settled in the car. The rest of the day passed so soon.

When i layed in my bed to sleep i reminded all the things which happened today. I got a new friend who was so sweet. And those pair of eyes. Omg i dont know what was happening to me but for some reason i couldn't forget the intensity when we were staring at each other as if staring into our souls.

I shrugged my thoughts and soon sleep enveloped me.
