17. First fight

Inaya's POV

I was in my class taking notes when someone came and sat beside me. I turned my head to look at the person and saw it was that same boy who i bumped into from yesterday.

I again focused on what i was doing when he spoke "hey we meet again"

"Yeah" i whispered as we were in the middle of class.

"By the way myself Adnan and you?"

"Inaya" i muttered slowly.

"Ohh pretty name" i felt too awkward and shy to say anything as i don't know this person at all.

"Uhh.. thank you" i said awkwardly and heard him chuckle.

The rest of the class went by with him talking or asking random things while i nodded most of the time. This guy speaks alot. We also got warning from professor a few times.

"And you all have to make assignment on this topic. You can partner up with the person next to you" professor spoke before leaving.

"Guess we're partners" adnan said as i looked at him and nodded.

"So tell me when you have free class we can start our assignment then" we were walking out of the class while discussing about our assignment.

"I'm free just after this class we can start then?" i stated and he agreed with a smile.

We parted our ways as he had a class and just when i walked out i saw rayan leaning against the wall. A smile formed on my face as i walked towards him.

"Hii sweetheart" he straightened as he saw me and smiled himself.

"Hey what are you doing here?" i asked him when he suddenly took my bag from me and carried it on his shoulder. I tried to take it back but he didn't let me.

"Nothing.. was just missing you" my heart fluttered at his confession.

"So wanna go to library after?" he asked and i really wanted to say yes but then remembered that i have to do the assignment.

"Sorry, but i have to complete an assignment" i spoke slowly and his expression fell as he sighed.

"It's ok we'll go later" i nodded with a smile.

"What do you think about this one?" adnan asked as we were deciding on which template to use. We were out in the garden trying to complete this assignment from an hour straight.

"Hmm i think it's good" i nodded as i took a look at his computer screen.

"Finally!" we both sighed of relief when our assignment was finally finished. It wasn't that bad working with him. I can tell that he's a talented and professional student when it comes to study although he talks alot but still his company isn't bad. He also seems to be fun and goofy type of person.

"So did you keep bumping into people?" he questioned and i laughed.

"No i don't bump into people daily it's just that i was excited that day" i shook my head.

"Ahh.. i see" he laughed and gave me a look which said 'i don't believe you'

We talked about a few more things and all this while i felt like someone's gaze was on me but ignored it. Because who possibly could it be and why?

I was packing my things when adnan nudged my elbow and asked "do you have a boyfriend?"

"What no.." i frowned as that was such a random question.
