41. Who is What?

Inaya's POV

Today, i didn't go to the office. I don't know why but lately, i've been feeling a little different and get tired easily. I also get emotional over things very easily.

Last night, we were watching an kdrama - which has now become a habit (i found my new kdrama partner), and suddenly i started crying because the girl's ice cream fell on the floor. I didn't even realised until Rayan had a mini panic attack and bombarded me with questions.

I told him it was nothing and that i just felt sad over a ice cream. But he didn't judged me or thought i was being stupid, instead he consoled me and even took me on an ice cream date.

And today i was feeling nauseated since morning. Maybe it's because of indigestion, so i decided to skip office for today.

Rayan was hell bent on not going too, because he was worried about me, but i assured him that i was fine.

It still took lots of tries to convince him to go to office.

He can be pretty stubborn sometimes.

But i know that how much he cares. And that's another reason which makes me love him again and again.

I was busy in my thoughts, when my phone ringed. A huge grin formed on my face as i saw that it was a group video call from the girls.

I missed them alot. It's been so long since we talked or met. We all were busy in our own lives. But no matter what, our friendship will always remain the same.

"Look guys, who finally remembered us," Alizeh grudged as soon as i picked up the phone.

"Please, you know i was busy with the moving and all," i rolled my eyes.

She muttered an 'Whatever'.

"Guys! Let's meet today, it's been so long since we last saw each other," Eman suggested with a sigh.

"I totally agree with her," Riya nodded her head.

"Yeah," Alizeh said.

"And Inaya, we will hear no excuses. You have to come no matter what!" Eman said before i even got a chance to speak.

The others backed her up, and having no choice i agreed.

After hanging up from the call, i messaged Rayan to let him know about our plans.

Me:
Hey, i'll be meeting with girls today (since they kind of threatened me) and i'm missing them too.

Rayan:
Aw, i was thinking of coming home early so we could spend more time.

Me:
Come on, i stay with you 24/7 - including office.

Rayan:
But no time is enough for me *sulking emoji*

Me:
Please? I'll be back early promise *puppy eyes emoji*

Rayan:
How can i even win from that? And i was just kidding, spend all the time you want and text me when done, i'll pick you up.

Me:
Okay <3

Rayan:
Enjoy sweetheart *heart emoji*

I changed my clothes and waited for Alizeh to come and pick me up. We decided to spend time at Eman's.

After about ten more minutes, she came and we drove to Eman's house.
