13. Lost Together

Inaya's POV

The next morning i woke up early. I went to the washroom to shower, but not before waking up alizeh too. When i came out after getting ready she was still asleep.

I went near her and took the blanket off her.

"Wake up you lazy girl!" i shouted and kept shaking her.

"Ughh let me sleep na" she groaned.

"We're here for fun not sleep. Now get up right now" i said.

She sat up and whinned at me but i gave her a glare.

"I'm going out you hurry up and come too after getting ready" and with that i left the room.

Well no one was there maybe it was still too early. Anyways, i decided to explore the place until everyone gets here.

There is also a forest near where we are staying. The place is absolutely beautiful, soothing and refreshing. That's the beauty of nature.

The cold breeze hit my face and i closed my eyes to fully enjoy it.

"Booo" a voice came from behind me.

I flinched and turned around only to see rayan laughing so hard.

"What the hell its not funny" i tried to glare at him.

"Sweetheart if you think that's gonna scare me then you're totally wrong, in fact this makes you look more cute" he said when he finally stopped laughing.

"Ughh i'm not talking to you!" i said and was about to leave when he jumped infront of me and apologised.

"Ok ok sorry please forgive me hmm?" he said giving me puppy eyes and he looked so adorable that i couldn't help but smile.

"Fine" his lips curled up into a huge smile.

We went back and everyone was here by now. I went towards the girls and we soon fell into a conversation.

After having breakfast, the professors took us for some sight seeing. We took alot of pictures and had so much fun.

When we came back towards our hotel, our friend group decided to start a bonfire. We all sat around it, chatting and playing games.

"You guys wanna know a rumour?" Ishaan said suddenly catching everyone's attention.

"What?" Riya asked him.

"I heard a few students say, that this forest is.... haunted," he said with the dramatic effects.

Riya smacked his head while others laughed. "Yeah as if we'll believe you."

"Do you actually believe in stupid stuff like this?" Alizeh asks.

"Come on guys, it may be true!" he protested.

But the rest ignored him and shook their heads.

"Guys!" he whinned.

"Ok, if the forest is really haunted, then we should test it!" Eman exclaimed.

"How?"

"Let's go and explore the forest?" Eman raised her eyebrows waiting for other's response.

"Yes!" Ishaan exclaimed happily.

"I mean, it'll be fun.." Alizeh said.

And just like that the others also agreed except for me.

"Uhm, i'm not going."

They all turned towards me as if i lost my mind. Ok, it's not like i actually believe that the forest would be haunted or something.. but it can be dangerous.
