27. It's Over

Inaya's POV

My life's been so amazing here in London. I've grown so used to this place that it feels just like home. Although i miss ami and nano alot.

I am so grateful for everything. No matter how much i express or feel grateful is less.

Today was our last final exam and with that the first year of my course is finally completed.

It feels like i've just came here yesterday but a whole year has passed by.

"Finally we're free!" eman exclaimed loudly as she came out of the hall after finishing her exam, followed by alizeh and riya.

"Girl we still have three more years left.." alizeh muttered giving her a reality check.

Riya and i chuckled while she glared at alizeh, "such a mood spoiler."

"Anyways, we're free atleast for two months" eman said and we all nodded.

Our new year will start after two months and we have vacations in this while.

"What are you guys gonna do in these vacations?" riya asked us.

"Sleep" alizeh said while yawning.

"Lazy" eman taunted her playfully but she just rolled her eyes.

"Same, i'm gonna complete all my sleep which i've lost due to these exams" riya nodded her head and she and alizeh high fived.

"We should do a sleepover or something again" eman suggested.

"Sweetheart" just then when we were discussing we heard rayan's voice.

He came towards us and took my bag from me just like he does daily.

"How did your exam go?" he asked.

"It went well!" i exclaimed and smiled.

He held my hand and kissed the side of my forehead.

"Ok lovebirds, stop being cringy" alizeh made a disgusted face.

"Yeah you guys are making us feel so alone" everyone nodded with riya.

"You guys are just jealous" rayan rolled his eyes pulling me towards him and i just chuckled.

Alizeh and i reached home while making plans for our vacations.

When we entered, we saw khala and uncle sitting on sofa. Khala looked really tensed and uncle was consoling her.

"Mom?" alizeh muttered getting their attention.

"Khala what happened?" i asked when we went near them and sat besides her.

"Inu beta your ami just called.." she started and i got really worried.

"Your nano.. s-she got heart attack and is in hospital" khala said as tears fell from her eyes.

My own eyes got teary, "What?" i muttered as i couldn't believe what i just heard. Nano.. she's in hospital? N-no..

"Khala how is she now? P-please tell me she's fine?" i asked trying to control my tears.

"The doctors said her health is very critical" uncle said this time as khala was unable to speak.

I felt my whole world collide. No no nothing can happen to nano. She'll be fine inshallah. I tried to console myself but it wasn't helping.

Allah g please don't let anything happen to nano. I can't live without her.

"Your ami asked if you'd like to go back so you could meet her" khala spoke after collecting her self.
