Noah:

"NOAH STERECERA! GET DOWNSTAIRS NOW!" I heard my mom shout from the kitchen. It was the  first day of my senior year at Wawanakwa High. It's some preppy boarding school in Muskoka, Ontario.

"I'm going, Mom!" I called back. I put on my signature sweater vest and cargo pants as I made my way downstairs to my amazing family.

I say 'amazing' like that because, in reality, I'm just my parent's little trophy that they can show off. They always say that they're proud of me, but they're just proud of the things that I do. They're just proud that after 8 failed attempts, they finally had a child that can get shit done. They probably learned from their 8 other messed-up lab experiments what not to do.

I went downstairs and saw my mom making breakfast. "Good morning, Noah. Are you excited for your first day of school?" She asked happily. "Thrilled," I blankly responded, making myself a cup of coffee.

"You're going to the most prestigious high school in Muskoka and you're not even happy. You didn't even try on your entrance exam. Why are you always so boring?" My older brother, James asked.  "I'm not boring. Also, I didn't need to try on that test. It was super easy and I'm smart." I answered. "You're also super conceited," My sister, Noelle said joining in. "At least I'm smart enough to know what conceited means," I retorted. "Oh my god, you're so annoying," My other sister Marie whined as her twin, Marcus hit my cup of coffee out of my hand. "What's your damn problem?" I asked irritated. "Relax Noah, it was an accident," I heard Priya say from the living room. "Yeah, stop being such a baby," Sophia told me ruffling my hair. "Have fun at Hogwarts you brat," Nick said shoving me into the counter earning a laugh from his identical twin, Rick. "Fuck off you failures," I snapped at all of them.

I stormed upstairs to my room to get the rest of my suitcases. I looked at the time 7:23, and I still had to rush to the bus stop to make sure I didn't miss the train.

I know it sounds a little like Hogwarts you gotta take a train to get to some fancy boarding school. Wawanakwa is practically a Hogwarts. The only different thing is that they won't teach you magic there.

Just as I was about to walk out the door to run to the bus, my mom stopped me. "Noah, you can't leave yet," She said. "Why?" I asked rolling my eyes. "You have to take your cousin Dave with you. It's his first day as a freshman. Remember?" She told me. "Ugh, do I have to?" I whined. Dave is so annoying. He's so clingy and irritating.

"Yes, Noah, you do have to take him," My mom demanded. "Fine," I groaned. "DAVE! HURRY UP! I AM NOT MISSING THIS TRAIN BECAUSE OF YOU!" I screamed. "We have to take a train?" Dave asked nervously. "YES! NOW HURRY UP OR YOU'RE WALKING TO SCHOOL AND IT'S IN ONTARIO! YOU HAVE FIVE MINUTES THEN I'M LEAVING!" I shouted at him.

Dave ran downstairs with his suitcase in hand. "Bye, Mom," I said hugging her. "Bye Noah. Have fun," She responded.

Dave and I had finally reached the bus stop just in time. I walked over to the back of the bus and pulled out a book.

"Noah?" Dave said trying to get my attention. "What?" I responded glaring at him. "You've been at this school for a while. Who should I avoid?" He asked.

"The seniors. They will tear you apart." I tried explaining only to be cut off by Dave. "But you're a senior-" I cut him off. "Shut up. I know that. This brings us to advice number two, don't talk to me. Advice number three, stay with your group. I.e annoying germaphobes like you." I told him sarcastically.

"Oh okay. Who do I sit with on the train?" He asked again. I rolled my eyes before answering, "A freshman in the front of the train. If you sit with a senior or in the back without invitation, you're practically asking to die. Anyways, this is our stop. Let's go," I told him walking out of the bus.
