Narcissa's POV

After my husband's unruly actions I took him to go get ready for our very important dinner. "Darling you really should go easier on Y/N. She is our daughter after all." I said as I fixed my hair. "She is not my daughter! She is a mistake that I have to deal with and hopefully this dinner will help me take that huge problem off my hands." Barked Lucius as he put on his coat. "Lucius Abraxas Malfoy! You take that back! She is your daughter!" I said throwing my hair brush at him. He caught it and slammed it on the desk. "I will do no such thing! She is a disgrace to this family and is worth nothing to me! I'm just hoping I can get a large dowry so something good comes out of that mistake!" I huffed at him slamming the door as we walked out and got in our car to go to dinner.

After a very tense and awkward we finally got to the restaurant. We walked in as the valet parked our car. The hostess immediately recognized us and sat us at our normal table. I flashed her a smile as I ordered a glass of wine while Lucius got a double shot of fire whiskey. There was no way I was going to get through this night without alcohol. I couldn't handle Lucius and I just hope he plays nice tonight. If I want a good future for my daughter this night needs to go perfectly.

After a while, the hostess came back with the couple we were meeting for the night. Lucius and I stood up as we greeted Jacob and Charlotte Woods. They ordered their drinks and we all placed our order for food and began chatting away. The Woods weren't horrible people. They were rich like us but not too rich. I just wish they lived closer because I do enjoy spending time with Charlotte. I sipped on my wine as we all caught up until our food came out.

"As much as I love catching up with you Lucius but I'm assuming there's another reason you asked us for dinner?" Jacob Wood asked as he started to cut into his food. Lucius chuckled. "You have caught me Jacob! I'd like to make a deal with you." Charlotte looks at me and with a raised eyebrow and I just rolled my eyes and nudged my head toward Lucius. "I can't say I'm not intrigued Lucius." Jacob chucked as he took a sip of his drink. "I'm interested in having your son Oliver marry my Y/N." Lucius replied looking at Jacob. Jacob spit his drink and Charlotte's jaw dropped. "You want Oliver to marry Y/N?!?!?" Jacob said in shock. Lucius nodded. "I think it will be very beneficial for both families. This way the I don't have to worry about her running off with some blood traitor or muggle born and disgracing our family name." Jacob and Charlotte looked at each other and Charlotte finally spoke up. "Oliver has been talking about her a lot since he came home. I think he might have a little crush on her but Oliver said she likes someone else." Lucius raised hand to stop her. "I've heard that as well and do not worry we have a plan." I looked down not liking the plan. Lucius continued. "But again this could have be great for both families. Gives your family some more power in the social system and makes mine richer with her dowry." Jacob and Charlotte exchanged looks and nodded. "I think you are absolutely right Lucius!" Jacob finally said. "But I don't think we should tell the kids until they are a little older. Let's give them a chance to fall in love all by themselves before we pop the arranged marriage on them." Charlotte added. I put my hand on Charlotte's. "I think that is a perfect idea!" Lucius paid the bill and stood up. "So it's settled then! Y/N and Oliver shall marry after Y/N becomes of age!"
