Y/N's POV

Fred wouldn't let me out of his sight. It was good to be back. I felt so safe and happy. I had so much fun catching up with everyone. Harry even showed me his new favorite music artist. I smiled as he showed me that it was Ashlyn. I couldn't tell him it was me. My songs were very deep and personal. One day I will tell everyone but just not yet. I went back to my room, and I grabbed some makeup and covered up my bruises before we went to King's Cross. When it was time, Fred grabbed my hand and walked with me. I could tell he was happy I was back.

Fred, George and I found an empty compartment, and all sat together. "I can't wait to show you my newest invention Squirt!" Fred said excitedly. I laughed. "I can't wait Goof." George laughed as well. "He's been working on it for so long. Let's see if it actually works." Fred hit George's arm. "It's going to work! I'm sure of it!" I kept laughing. "As long as it doesn't blow up, I'd call it a success." Everyone laughs with me. Suddenly, the compartment door swings open. We all stop laughing as we see Angelina standing there. She looks at Fred. "I've been looking everywhere for you." I look at George and raise my eyebrow. George immediately looks away. I was very confused. Angelina walks over and sits on Fred's lap and kisses him. I sat there frozen, just staring. After a while of them kissing, I got up and stormed out.

I found a compartment and I sat down and cried. I didn't realize that someone else was in here. "I'm so sorry. I didn't realize someone else was in here." I said as I wiped away my tears. He sat up and handed me something. "Take it. It's chocolate. It will help." His voice was oddly assuring. I took the chocolate and ate it. "Thank you. I'm Y/N. I don't think we have met yet." He extended his hand for me to shake, and I took it. "Professor Remus Lupin. I'm the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher." I shook his hand. "It's very nice to meet you Professor Lupin." He smiled kindly at me. "Very nice to meet you too, Y/N. Would you like to talk about what is bothering you?"

I took a deep breath. "Just some boy problems, but I will be okay. I will let you get back to sleep Professor. I can't wait to see you in class." I walked out and went to another compartment. I bumped into someone, and I fell to the ground. "I'm so sorry." I say as I stand up. I looked at who it was, and it was Oliver. "Oh, hey Y/N. I didn't realize you were back." He said shyly. "Oh, yeah, I just got back." I said as I brushed myself off. "Where were you? I haven't heard from you since you broke up with me." He said as he looked at me. "Oh, I spent the last year in America with my Aunt." I looked back at him. I almost forgot how much I loved his accent. "That sounds like it was fun. Would you want to maybe catch up sometime?" I looked at Oliver and smiled. "That sounds nice."

After what seemed like forever, we got to the castle. As soon as I reached the castle doors, McGonagall wanted to speak with me. I nodded and followed her to her office. She motioned for me to sit so I did. Was I in trouble? "I'm very glad you have decided to come back to school this year." She says to me before she continues. "I want you to be as comfortable as possible. I understand you have been having nightmares and flashbacks, correct?" I nodded my head before she continued again. "You will be sleeping in the Gryffindor dorms this year." I looked at her confused. "Professor?" She raises her as if she wasn't done speaking. "I heard you spent the better part of the summer with the Weasley's before your abrupt disappearance. I have spoken with Professor Dumbledore and the parents, and it has all been arranged. It may seem odd, but you will be staying in a room with Fred, George, and Oliver. I presume you will be on your best behavior?" I nod. "Yes Professor." She waves me along, dismissing me.

I had to share a room with Fred and Oliver. This year was going to be a strange one. I can feel it in my bones. I started walking around the halls. It felt so good to be back. I looked around and it seemed like nothing had changed. I liked that. Before I knew it, a water balloon landed on my head soaking me. I heard a familiar voice laughing. "Really, Peeves, on my first day back!" I said laughing as I turned around and saw a prankster ghost named Peeves. "I missed a whole year of playing pranks on you. I must make up for lost time." I shook my head. "Nice to see you too Peeves." I walked up to my dorm room that I was sharing with the boys.

I quickly changed into dry clothes before I went back into the Great Hall for the Opening Ceremony. I sat next to Luna and Cho. "Where have you been?" Cho asks as she hugs me tightly. "I thought maybe the Nargles got ahold of you, Y/N." Luna replied as she touched my arm."Oh, how I have missed you, Luna." I say with a smile before I continue. "Actually, I spent the last year in the United States. It was actually pretty fun." Cho's jaw drops. "Oh my Merlin! Tell me everything!" I start to tell them all about Aunt Cressida and how she's a clothes designer. It was so nice to be back. I missed everyone, especially my girls.
