The Unexpected Twin

Fred's POV

I've been doing research on charms and curses. I know me studying sounds crazy right? But this was important! It was for her! I needed to get her memories back before it was too late! I asked Hermione for help and she was gonna try to talk to Y/N to figure out who her brother is.

I saw Draco and his friends walking to the Hospital Wing. Draco was screaming with pain and it made me laugh. That's what he gets. I then see Hermione running in behind them and she is frantically searching. I grab her shoulders. "Hey what happened?" Hermione was breathing heavily. "It's Draco!"

"Ya I just saw him. He's on his was to the hospital wing. Since when do you care about him?" I ask her confusingly. She shakes her head. "No you don't understand. Y/N's brother! It's Draco!" My jaw drops. There's no way. Y/N can't be a Malfoy. It's impossible! They are nothing alike. Polar opposites in fact! No wonder she didn't want anyone to know.

I took out my map. I needed to find Y/N. I needed to know that she was okay. I saw she was at the Black Lake and she was all alone. I decided she might need some company. I ran to the Black Lake and I heard singing. I hid behind a tree and peaked around it. It was Y/N!

Her voice was amazing. I could listen to her sing all day. I started listening to the lyrics and realized that I didn't know this song. Did she write her own music? How much did I not know about her?

She was singing a song about her family. About how it's not as perfect as everyone thinks. It was actually a pretty good song. Y/N did a great job writing it.

I was thinking if I should ask her about Draco. I mean obviously I know why she wanted to keep it a secret. She told me about all the abuse and neglect from her family but never told me who it was and now it all made sense to me.

I noticed it was past curfew and I knew she would need my help sneaking back into the castle. I started walking towards her as she was packing up her things. "Stalking me are we?" She asked while looking up at me. "I looked at her "I didn't know you could sing." She blushed slightly of embarrassment. "You weren't supposed to hear that." I smiled softly at her. "I'm glad I did."

She decided she trusted me enough to let me help her back into the castle. I grabbed her hand and ran with her. Her hand fit perfectly in mine. I took her through the secret passage way set the side of the school. It was a tight hallway but it got me closer to her.

I offered her to stay in my dorm after we got to the common room but She insisted on sleeping on the couch. I headed up to my dorm. Should I have stayed with her? Will she be okay by herself down there? Should I go get her and make her come up here?

This gave me time to figure everything out. We know who her brother is now but what we don't know is what the cursed item is. The only thing she wears is... her mother's necklace! That has to be it! Now I just have to figure out how to get close enough to take it off of her. This is not gonna be easy!
