The Unexpected Twin

It was finally the end of the day and you go and report to Madam Hooch for your detention. "Now Miss. Y/N your skills on the broom are very impressive indeed but since you couldn't follow directions you are stuck here with me!" I slightly chuckled. I have heard that detentions with Madam Hooch have been very interesting and not like any other detention I've seen before. "I'm assuming by your necklace that you are familiar with the game Quddich?" I nodded. "Well this is very unusual for me to ask this but the Ravenclaw team may have to forfeit the Quddich Cup this year." My jaw drops. "What? Why?" Madam Hooch sighs. "They simply cannot find a seeker unless you would want to?" My eyes widen in excitement! "I thought first years couldn't be on the quidditch teams?" "Normally they can't y/n but this year we are making some exceptions. So what do you say?" "I say freak ya! Thank you Madam Hooch!!!" I jump in excitement.

"Now tomorrow during free period you and Mr. Potter are going to join Oliver Wood to learn the basics." I look at Hooch with confusion. "But aren't they both Gryffindors? Shouldn't I learn with my own team?"  Madam Hooch sighs "Normally yes but Mr. Potter is also training to be a seeker and Oliver is the best person to teach you both." I nod in agreement and Madam Hooch has me clean the Goal Posts on the quidditch pitch for my detention and once I'm done Madam Hooch dismisses me to dinner.

As I walking in the halls I saw a very familiar red head waiting on one of the benches. "Hey Goof! You waiting for someone?" He looks up at me "George got detention with Snape so I'm waiting for him. Speaking of detention how was yours?" I sit next to him. "Oh you know the usual." He looks at me raising an eyebrow. "You had detention with Madam Hooch and it was 'the usual?'" He mocks me. "Wellllll... something did happen but I don't know if I should tell you" I smirk at him. "Oh really? Please do tell!" He turns to face me. "Wellll... I may have been asked to be the new seeker for the Ravenclaw team." I smile as Fred's jaw drops and he stands up and picks me up and spins me around causing me to blush profusely. "That's great y/n! I'm so happy for you!" He keeps me in his arms as I thank him. I look up at him as he looks down at me getting lost in each other's eyes. After a little while of staring into each other eyes, Fred starts to lean in before we hear a familiar voice. "Am I interrupting something?" Fred and I back away from each other blushing.

I ran into the great hall slightly embarrassed and sat next to Luna and put my head on the table. Luna looks over at me concerned. "Were you attacked by Nargles?" I mumbled into the table "No Luna. It wasn't Nargles." Luna sighed in relief and continued to eat her food as Cho walked over and sat across from us. "Hello ladies! Y/n what is wrong?" I sighed and mumbled. "I don't wanna talk about it." Cho looked at Luna and raised an eyebrow hoping she had an answer to what happened. Luna shook her shoulders and said "All I know is that it wasn't Nargles." Cho sighed in relief. "Good at least it wasn't Nargles!" Luna looks up and zones out while staring at the ceiling.

Suddenly the doors fling open and fireworks appear out of no where. I quickly cover my ears from the loud noise and look up to see that this has the Weasley twins written all over it! Soon the twins come running in laughing as the fireworks continue high fiving students along the way to their seats. Fred looks over at me to see if I'm laughing and I immediately put my head back down avoiding eye contact. Fred pouts as he turns back to his group.  As the fireworks die down I move my hands off my ears and I sit back up and eat my food. Cho looks at me with suspicion. "Okay so it definitely has something to do with the twins!" I sigh "Fine if I tell you will you finally drop it?" Cho nods her head. I bend closer to Cho and she does the same and I whisper to her, "Fred and I almost kissed." Cho's jaw drops and she screams "YOU ALMOST WHAT?!?!?" Causing the whole great hall including Fred to turn and stare at us. I look around and see everyone staring at me and I start to hyperventilate. I completely freeze and when everyone goes back to their conversations i jump up and run out while Fred follows me with his eyes.
