TW: Suicide (at the end)

"CODY, YOU WOULD NOT BELIVE THE AUDACITY OF THIS MAN." Anya growled as she threw another punch at a dummy. "'Oh, clones are not allowed in my shop.' Not only is that some racists banta dung, but sir you are running a diner, not the senate! I just cannot believe-!"

"I told you she was pissed." Rex whispered to Cody as they observed the Jedi venting.

Cody watched her with his brows pinched together. "It's so weird to see her angry. This doesn't feel right."

"It was horrifying to witness it first hand." Rex told him. "To watch someone who is usually so calm and happy all the time suddenly become...threatening." Rex shook his head. He kept the whole 'tried to Jedi mind trick the owner' to himself since Cody didn't need to know that. No one did besides Rex and Anya, and that was how it was going to stay.

"-the cowardice!" Anya spin kicked the dummy, knocking it over.

"Oh, good form." Cody suddenly applauded, the move distracting him from his conversation with Rex. "I see you've been practicing that kick ever since I showed you how to do it."

Anya hummed in reply, picking the dummy off of the floor. "I had the burning desire to practice it on another type of dummy."

Cody laughed to himself while Rex sighed, "That would have been battery, Anya. You would have gotten arrested for something like that."

Anya shrugged her shoulders. "I trust that you would bail me out."

Rex shook his head. "Anya, that's not what I mean-"

"I would bail you out, Anya." Cody said, smirking. "Even if Rex wouldn't."

"I am not bailing anyone out-"

"Wow, Rex." Anya threw up her hands. "I now know who I should not call when I am in jail."

"No, what I'm trying to say is I won't bail you out because - hopefully - you won't be in prison." Rex threw out his hands. "Why are you even considering the possibility that you would be arrested?"

"You are right," Anya nodded. "No one would ever figure out it was me, I know how to cover my tracks."

"Oh my stars." Rex shook his head as he turned around.

"They probably would not even catch me. No one in the right mind would condemn me with my record, plus I could probably trick a jury if I tried hard enough. Holy shit," Anya breathed out, her eyes widening. "I am untouchable. I could commit any crime I wanted."

"That's probably something you shouldn't be saying around other people." Cody pointed out.

"That's probably something you shouldn't be saying at all." Rex added, giving Cody a pointed look who just shrugged his shoulders in reply.

"Off the topic of criminal activity, now that you got your spin kick down I can teach you that tornado kick." Cody said, getting up from the water break he was taking. He and Anya had been training together all morning. He was re-wrapping his hands when he noticed his comms going off. "Never mind, I have to take this." Cody took his comm and walked off to answer it.
