Kim's pov:
There was silence after I finished the song.
The lyrics were perfect. It sounds just right.
And...
I looked at Vegas who hadn't moved from his position with his head on my shoulder.
I don't mind him staying like this though. And he seems at ease.
"Music does work apparently." He chuckled softly.
I blinked. "Hm?"
"It's quiet." He smiled, relieved.
Oh.
That explains the tears.
"I thought you said it didn't work for you." I tilted my head.
"It never did. Not before I heard you singing." He replied.
I felt my cheeks heat up as the words sank in.
So it wasn't the music but my singing...?
"Can you sing a bit more? Just one more song?" He peeked one eye open and looked at me.
"Sure, I can do one more." I nodded.
"Thank you..." He moved closer to me and settled against my side properly.
I couldn't help the small smile that formed on my face as I felt his comforting weight against me.
This is nice...

I knew he was asleep by the time I finished the next song.He was leaning his whole weight against me and his breathing was even and rhythmic.
Great. Now what should I do?
I slowly put my guitar on the coffee table without moving my right arm too much.
I know trying to move him to lay down or something is going to wake him up immediately.
I put a hand on his forehead gently as I leaned back on the couch, pulling him with me.
He hummed softly and snuggled even closer to me if that's possible, his arms coming to wrap around mine, one hand clutching at my t-shirt at my stomach.
Yeah, now I definitely can't move.
I sighed as I leaned my head back against the backrest.
Well, this position isn't too bad either. It's not uncomfortable. It's nice having someone snuggled up to my side like this.
I carefully pulled my arm from being squished between his body and mine, instead bringing it around him.
He seemed to melt even more against me as he felt it.
I leaned my head against his, breathing in the scent of cocoa from his hair.
Cocoa shampoo huh? Cute.
I couldn't help the small smile as I closed my eyes and let myself drift as well.

I sighed softly as I sat down on the side of the pool, dipped my legs in the cool water and leaned back on my hands before closing my eyes. The weather has been scorching hot lately. Having a pool in my backyard is a godsend.
I opened my eyes when I heard someone sit next to me and dip their legs in the water as well.
A smile formed on my face when I saw Vegas.
"When did you get here?"
"Just now." He unbuttoned his shirt and took it off before throwing it aside.
