Ponyboy's P.O.V.
I woke up and moved my arm over. Cold. I looked over to see that Moo's side of the bed was empty. I sat up and looked around.
"Moo?" I called. Silence. I stood up and felt a small breeze. I pulled my clothes on as I remembered what happened last night.
I smiled to myself, but frowned as I also remembered that Moo was gone. I walked downstairs and looked around. "Moo?" I called again. No response.
Now I began to panic. I ran through the house looking all over the place. My eyes fell on the window right above the kitchen sink.
I ran over and saw Moo standing in the back yard. I let out a sigh of relief and walked to the back door. I walked outside and Moo turned around. Her blue eyes sparkled and her hair blew in the small breeze. I smiled and walked over to her.
"Morning." She said. I wrapped my arm around her waist. "Why didn't you tell me there was a backyard?" I asked. "I thought you knew." She said, confused. "No. I woke up and you never answered me so I thought you ran off or was kidnapped by some weirdo. Or worse." I whispered.
She turned towards me and put her hands on my shoulders. "Pony. If something happened I would have screamed. I'm fine." She said.
I pulled her in for a hug and held onto her. She looked up at me and her eyes had a miscevious glint to them.
I cocked an eyebrow curiously. "What are you thinking?" I asked.
"Well. First maybe some breakfast, but we don't have any food. Next. A change of clothes, but we don't have that either. Last. Maybe a date." She said.
I chuckled at her requests. "Food we can buy. Clothes...I'll figure it out. And a date. I think that would be nice." I said.
She smiled and grabbed my hand. "I have an even better idea for the clothes." She said. She tugged me towards the house.
We walked in and she walked to the phone. "What do you have planned?" I asked. "You'll see." She said.
I leaned against the door frame and watched her while she waited for the person to answer. "Yeah James." She said quickly. "It's Belle." She waited a few moments.
"I know. I'm still alive. I'm fine. I need a favor though." She paused. "I need a getaway car." She said. My jaw dropped.
"Are you crazy!?" I yelled. "James. James. Listen to me. That was a friend. Look. I really need this. Please. Come on. I-....I can bring that." She said.
"Okay. It's a deal. We'll be there around-" She looked at the clock. "One or One- thirty." She said.
She nodded and said good-bye before hanging up.
"What was that?" I ask. "We're getting our clothes." She replied.
"Who was that?" I ask again. "A guy I used to be friends with." She said.
I shook my head as I followed her out of the house. "You remind me of one of my friends." I mumbled.
"Which one. Is it Dally?" She asked. "Yeah. Good old Dallas didn't know what he could get himself into." I said.
"Ah. Dallas Winston. He's famous. What happened?" She asked. "I'd rather not talk about it." I said.
She nodded and we continued walking. I hope this goes well.
(I just want you all to know that I won't be doing the stuff I started out with. I won't be rewriting part of it in a different P.O.V. I tried and it got confusing and drove me nuts. I just thought I'd let you know.)
