Kirk followed Mayli around the little girls room, watching her pack some bags
"Baby come on.. You know James would never hurt Clove.. That's his baby girl.." he said trying to get her to calm down
"I honestly have no clue what to think right now Kirk.." she replies shaking her head
Kirk sighed and took her hands in his, causing her to look at him
"James would never EVER harm that baby.. you really think he would do something to her that would result in her growing up without a father? I mean you know what kind of childhood he had.. he would never want that for his own children.." he expressed calmly
Mayli sighed "okay.. okay but we seriously need to talk with him.. this isn't just a tiny oopsie charge.. this is child endangerment.. not only that child abuse.. that's a huge charge Kirk!"
James came in and cleared his throat "who the fuck reported me.."
Mayli and Kirk whipped their heads around and stared at him
"it.. it was the bus driver.." Mayli muttered out
James felt his jaw clench, the bus driver? he almost killed his best friend and his daughter.. and has the audacity to report HIM for child endangerment AND child abuse
James turned to walk away, punching the door putting a hole right through it. Causing Kirk and Mayli to jump a bit
the tall man quickly went down the stairs and out of the house slamming the door shut
"where daddy going?" Clover asked sadly
"i don't know baby.. but it can't be good" Kirk said softly to her, picking her up and kissing her cheek
Mayli smiled softly, watching Kirk with the little girl was adorable
