Clover laid in the hospital bed, James sat by her refusing to leave her side
she opened her eyes, becoming scared
James quickly grabbed her hand "calm down baby it's okay i'm here"
she looked over at him and instantly started crying, she felt him hug her tightly as he as cried
Mayli passed by the room, looking in and smiling
"how is she?" Kirk asked her as he walked closer
"they're hugging right now.. let them have some time to themselves" she said smiling, pulling Kirk along with her away from the room
in the room, James continued to hug the little girl tightly
"i thought i would never get to tell you i love you ever again baby.." he sobbed
she pulled back a bit "i know you love me daddy.. i love you too" she said smiling softly
"so mommy got you huh?" he asked finally calming down
she nodded "mommy wanted to get back at you.."
the blonde scuffed "yeah well she's going away for ever for what she did to you baby.. trust me yeah?"
"daddy... i- don't leave me please..." she whimpered weakly
"i would never leave you baby.. never." he told her ruffling her hair causing her to giggle
he broke into a wide smile, he was back to himself
and from now on.. she wasn't ever leaving his side
