I fell to the ground as I got thrown into the wall. It was coming straight for me, fangs out. As it got close enough, I turned my body and used the wall to kick it in the stomach and make it fall backwards. I quickly stood up, ran over and sliced its head off. I thought I was all clear when one jumped on my back and sunk its teeth into my neck.
"Ah shit!" I yelled. I grabbed her hair and pulled as far as I could and she let go. I then did a somersault and she fell off me. We both stood up and looked at each other.
"You killed my family." she yelled at me.
"You guys killed a lot more people. You have to be stopped." I said. She ran at me again and jumped to try to get me again but I ducked and she fell behind me. I spun around and she ran at me then I kicked her in the stomach. She fell back again. I ran at her and as she was standing up, my blade went through her neck.
That was the last one in a nest of twenty. They were not happy that I was there, but I couldn't give two shits. I picked up her arm and whipped my machete off on it.
"I really need to get this thing sharpened." I said and turned around. I stepped over a few bodies to get outside.
I walked across the street to my motorcycle. I sheathed my machete and put it in the compartment under my seat. I took out a flask and a cloth. I poured some whisky on the bite. I breathed out to try to lower the pain. I then wiped it with the cloth.
I stopped moving. I felt someone watching me. I slowly pulled out my gun and then quickly turned around. I looked around but saw no one. I shrugged it off and put my helmet on and sat on my bike. I texted Bobby I was on the way home. I was about an hour out. I then kicked up the stand and took off.
On the way home I stopped by and picked up some beer and pizza. I pulled up to Bobby's and hopped off my bike. I pulled off my helmet and grabbed the pizza and beer and headed inside. I walked through the door and b-lined it for the kitchen, ignoring everything else.
"Hey Bobby! I got dinner and refreshments. I took care of the vamp nest. They are not going to be a problem anymore. Now come down and eat you old man." I yelled and laughed as I placed it all on the counter. I turned around and saw him with someone in the living room. The person's back was to me so I couldn't see who it was.
"Shoot, sorry I didn't know you had company. I'll just go freshen up." I said. Bobby looked stunned and like he couldn't tell me something. "Why are you looking at me like that?" The person finally turned around and I couldn't move. It was Dean. I quickly reached for my gun and pointed it at him
"What the hell are you?" I asked.
"Ali, it's me." he said.
"No! Dean is dead." I said.
"It really is him." Bobby said.
"Shut up, I don't even know if it's really you." I said.
"I'll prove it." Dean said. He pulled up a silver knife and I unlocked my gun. He put his other hand up and sliced his arm. He was fine.
"I made you a promise, after my dad died, I would never leave you. I broke that promise and I am so sorry." he said.
"I don't believe you." I said. I walked closer to them. "Hands up, both of you." I pulled out my flask and threw holy water on them both. When nothing happened, my heart stopped.
"Dean?" I asked, my eyes watering. I locked my gun, put it away and jumped into his arms. He grabbed me tight. I pulled back and grabbed his face, feeling it, memorizing it.
"How?" I asked, crying. "Dean. Your chest was ribbons, your insides were slop. And you've been buried four months. Even if you could slip out of hell and back into your meat suit -" I said.
