Nikki and Victor sat on the couch relishing in the private moments they were sharing with their son, whom was now able to hold his own head up.She had to tell Victor something, but was afraid of his reaction.

Victor I have something to tell you, but you have to promise you won't do anything rash.

A few hours before Christianson's party, around eleven, I am going to meet Jack for lunch.

Why are you having lunch with Jack Abbott.

I need to talk to him. I haven't talked to him since Christianson was born, and we have a lot of loose ends to discuss.

Listen, I know you feel guilty and obligated to try to mend you're relationship with him, but let me tell you something, you don't owe him a damn thing!

Yes I do Victor, we were planning a life together. I let him believe that we were going to be together for the rest of our lives, and in the blink of an eye all that changed. One day we were together, and the next I broke off our engagement. I broke it off even before we got the paternity test results in, because I knew I still loved you. I just want to give him some sort of closure.

Ok my darling do what you have to do, but do you think I should go with you, and you know make sure everything goes ok.

No darling, I'm sure you're the last person Jack wants to see at this point. He is hurting and the point of this is to help him not make it worse. Besides, I need you to stay and watch Christianson. And if you're a good boy, when we come home tonight, I'll make it worth you while.

Well I guess I'm going to go get ready, as much as I'd love to stay here all day, but we have a party to go to.

Yes we do. Victor said as he rose from the couch and followed Nikki up the stairs.

Victor in his usual suit, Nikki in a blue dress that rested at the top of her knees with long sleeves, and Christianson in a mini suit, identical to Victor's.

I have to get a picture of this, the two of you look just alike. You both look so handsome.

While you are going to lunch with Jack Abbott, we are going to Katherine's for lunch.

Oh good, I'm sure she will love to see you and the baby.

Yes, she has been meaning to come by, but has just been so busy lately.

Nikki smiles, and gives Christianson a kiss.

Oh of course, Nikki said as she smiled.

Well I guess Christianson and I better get going.

Ok, but remember, don't let him get anything on his suit, put a bib on him!
