Chapter. 16

I breath in shakily, pressing my lips against his as he pulls me closer to him... after a few seconds he pulls away, sighing softly. "You alright?" I ask, trying but failing to keep my smile small. "I'm better than alright... Zelda.. I really really like you... and I would like to take you out on a date." He smiles, placing one hand on my cheek, the other on my lower back. "I really really like you too and I would love to go on a date with you." I smile wrapping my arms around his neck. "Tonight then. Dinner... just the two of us-" He smiles, but I just cut him off with a kiss. He chuckles, kissing me back. "What the bloody hell?!!?" Grandmother gasps in horror. Link and I jump away from each other. "My gods! What is going on???!!!" 

"Grandmother please! I can explain!" I mutter quickly. "So you two really are more than friends!!" She growls, hands on her hips. "It's not like that but I wish to be with your granddaughter...... to be her boyfriend........." Link mumbles quickly, before I can say anything. I turn to look at him in shock. "Really?!" I gasp, placing my hand over my mouth. "Really.. If you'll have me-" 

"You do realize that I'm still in the room." Grandmother growls, glaring at Link. "Grandmother! Get out!" I laugh angrily, pushing her from the room, closing the door. Link chuckles genty as I come to stand in front of him. "Um... You were saying..?" I whisper, looking away shyly. "Zelda.. Will you consider being my girlfriend...? After our first date at least.." 

"You'll get your answer... after our first date." I grin. "Let's make our date at noon then." He smiles. "You'll need to leave then! I only have 2 hours to get ready!" I giggle shoving him out the door. "Pff! You just have to tell the others." He laughs as I close the door. I pull out my phone, texting Impa, Purah, and Paya. *Zelda "Girls get in here now!! I'm going on a date!! with Link! I will tell you everything when you get in here!!! 😱" 

They don't text back but instead they all come crashing into my room. "Freaking hell!!!! Spill!!!" Impa screams, shaking me roughly. 

After I explain everything they get to work. Impa goes through my clothes, Paya does my hair and Purah my makeup. "I don't wear makeup so why do I need to wear it now?" I groan, pulling away from her brush. "It's just a little so quit complaining." Purah hisses, grabbing my chin to stop me from pulling away. "Fine." I grumble. "I have the perfect outfit!" Impa laughs. "I have to a-a-a-a-approve it... Z-Zelda doesn't need to look like you." Paya laughs, along with Purah. Impa rolls her eyes, showing her the outfit in a way that makes it so I can't see it. "We'll give you some eyeshadow and a little bit of lipstick." Purah Naraites as Imap gives me a cheeky grin. "What?" I ask, glancing at my phone in my lap. "I'm going to see if Link needs help.. Also I know you have a picture of him open so stop being so silly and just look at it!!!" Impa laughs leaving the room. "She's right. W-we a-a-all already saw the p-p-p-p-p-p-picture." Paya smiles as Purah nods, giggling loudly. "Alright you caught me." I sigh, unlocking my phone... "It's a nice picture." Purah smiles, putting lipstick on me. I nod gently, looking at the picture of Link smiling sweetly with an Ice-cream in his hand. "I do really like it, but I think I like this one a little more." I smile, flipping to the picture of Link at Twi's house. "Aw he's covered in f-flour!" Paya smiles.

Link's Pov: 

I look through my clothes. 'Uh.. Do I change or wear this?' I think, glancing around. The door handle to my room twists and I become on high alert. The door opens quickly and in comes Impa. "You look like you could use some help." 

I wait outside the castle, rocking back and forth on my heels. Zelda walks out in a blue and white tie dye shirt and an overall dress that is kinda short. Her hair is in a braid. It's big, loose and clunky in a cute way and her sideburns hang freely. There are small fake flowers all throughout the braid and she has on white converse and some light make up..... And she looks beautiful. 'She always looks beautiful.'
