"Oh my gods! The only one who can pull off this dumb ass uniform is Zelda!!! How the hell is that fair?!?!?!!" Impa growls, pulling at her dress coat. "Oh please." I roll my eyes, glancing at the castle doors, anxiously waiting for Link. "Chill Zelda... Just get in the car." Purah says following Paya into the car. "In just a sec....." I answer, playing with my skirt. "He'll be here." Impa smiles, placing a hand reassuringly on my shoulder. "I know, I know... but I wonder what's keeping him..." I mumble, glancing around. Link comes jogging out of the castle doors, running his fingers through his hair, his classic blue hair tie on his wrist. "Hey sorry I'm late... I slept in and kinda got lost." He smiles, giving my cheek a kiss as the worry drains from my face. "It's alright, I was just worrying that's all." I smile as we get in the car. "Aw, you worry about me?" He teases, starting to put his hair up as the car starts. "Of course! Why wouldn't I?" I hiss, folding my arms. "I'm just teasing." He chuckles, putting his hands down, his hair up as normal. I nod, my right leg bobbing up and down. "Hey, it's gonna be ok." Link whispers, placing one hand on my thigh, and grabbing my hand with his other. "What if we don't have classes together!? What if you have 2nd lunch and I have 1st!?! What if-"
"No more what if's. Everything will be just fine. Will a kiss calm your nerves?" He asks gently. "It would, actually." I mutter, taking a deep breath. He smiles, kissing my cheek. I squeeze his hand as we go over a bump. "I don't... I don't want to go...." I breathe, feeling panic twist my stomach. "I know, but everything is going to be fine. I'll be with you every step." He muses, giving my hand a gentle squeeze. "Link... the people here don't like me. I'm too young and naive. They think they know me and they hate me for it." I mutter, my leg bobbing up and down again. "Zelda, please calm down, it's going to be alright, please stop worrying, it's starting to scare me." He mumbles, glancing out the window."I'm trying. I'm just all over the place! I'm not ready... I'm not ready. I'm not ready... It's too scary! It's too much!" I mutter, my eyes clouding with tears. "Impa, get the driver to turn us around. Zelda... We can try again tomorrow." He remarks faintly. "No! No, I'll just keep stalling.. It's now or never." I groan, my lip trembling. "So I won't make the driver turn around?"
"Guess not." Purah replies, only glancing up from her phone. "If you change your mind let me know and we'll leave... just say the word." Link offers, squeezing my hand again and kissing my forehead. "Alright." I whisper as Purah and Impa laugh. "G-g-guys." Paya blushes. "What is it?" I ask, trying to distract myself. "T-t-they're taking p-p-pictures of e-e-every time you guys k-k-kiss or something." Paya groans, covering her bright red face with her hands. "I should have known. Let me see!" I demand, grabbing at their phones. I finally get the phone out of Impa's hands. "Impa!" I gasp looking at all the pictures of me and Link. "This is just..... I mean some of them are cute and you have to send them to me but it's a little creepy." I murmur, flipping through the Pictures. "Oh wait, I like that one." Link smiles, taking the phone from me. It's a picture of Link and I in the entrance hall of the castle.... Kissing. I look at Link as he hands the phone back to Impa. "No more pictures!" I hiss, laying my head on Link's shoulder. "Naw, I'ma never stop!" Impa grins, sharing a funny glance with Purah. Purah takes a picture and I just roll my eyes. The car stops and we all get out. We all enter the school we stopped in front of. Impa leads the way straight to the office. "Hey. We need our schedules." Impa says, leaning against the front desk. "Name's please." The woman at the desk says in a quiet gentle voice. "Impa Sheikah, Purah Sheikah, Paya Sheikah, Link Wild, and Zelda Bosphramus." Impa states in one breath. "Here you go. Have a great day, Princess Zelda, the Principal has asked to talk to you in his office, your friends can wait here for you." She says sliding papers and maps over to Impa. "I'll just be a minute." I smile weakly, walking to the door with the words 'Principal's Office.' printed across the glass window in big gold letters. Link glances at Impa, worry pulling at his brow. I knock on the door, feeling my heart push against my chest, worry closing my throat. "Come in!" A man calls loudly. I enter, closing the door behind me. "Please take a seat." A thin faced man with dark curly hair and big green eyes and dark fair skin, says with a small gentle smile. "I am well aware of your situation." He starts as I take a seat. "And understand if you would like to have counseling. Your father said it might be best, considering all that has happened, and I agree." He says lacing his hands in front of him. "Oh... Um, I'm not sure I would be very comfortable... with that." "Of course, we would never force you into something you don't want to do, but at least think about it... you're free to go." He smiles, gesturing to the door. "Right I will.... Thank you." I mutter leaving quickly. "Damn it! Link swap schedules with me!! I have no classes with Zelda!" Impa shrills, reaching for his papers, "No!" He growls, raising the papers above his head. "Come on! You have only one class without her! That's no fare!!" she says, jumping for it. "Impa, please calm yourself." I laugh as she continues to jump for the papers. "Impa! You're too short, you're not gonna get the papers." Purah laughs, shoving all of us from the room. I take my papers from Impa reading through everything. "Who else has first lunch?" Purah asks. "Um all of us." Impa grins, just as the bell rings. "Alright first is biology, Zelda we gotta go up to the second floor." Link grins, taking my hand as the halls fill with people, everyone trying not to fall asleep as they make their way to class. "Okie dokie!" I mutter with a grin, letting Link lead the way.
We get to the classroom taking seats next to each other. The teacher takes roll and starts the class, Link and I share a glance but just follow along.
I slowly make my way to the cafeteria, seeing Link glancing around the halls. "Link!" I call waving at him. He turns, his eyes falling on me, a huge smile on his face. He starts towards me and I continue forward, accidentally bumping into someone. "Oop! Sorry!" I say quickly. "Oh no worries, Princess." The guy smiles, continuing on his way. I glance back, confused but shake it off, sliding past people forcing my way over to Link. "Hey, there you are. How was class?" He asks, taking my hand as we walk to the cafeteria together. "Good... really, really good." I smile.
