Chapter. 1

It's the first day back to school after a long winter break. The school yard is crowded with people and snow. I pull my scarf up over my nose feeling it grow colder. "Zellee'' I hear Impa laugh, hugging me from behind. "I missed you soooo much!!" She says hugging me tightly "I figered.. from all the texts." I laugh. "So how was winter break ALL the WAY in France?"

"It was.. Boring.. But you know." I say with a small shrug. "We should do the gift exchange! After school though." She says happily "I'll drive us... you don't have your license on you huh?" I ask knowing the answer. "Yup." She says just as the bell rings. "See you after class!" She yells running away. "What about lunch?" I call back. "OH RIGHT!! See you then!" She says entering the art building. I shake my head with a smile, walking into the main building, going straight to my first class... Math.

I enter the class room, taking a seat at the front of the class.. Picking the one next to the window. Everyone is laughing and talking loudly. "Hello everyone! Welcome back. I hope you all had a good break... Everyone, this is our new student here at Hyrule High.. Link." The teacher says, motioning for a boy to come stand next to him. The boy has long light brown hair, (Or dirty blond) that's pulled into a small ponytail thing. His face is plain.. Nothing showing how he feels.. He just stands there before going back to his seat.. That happens to be right next to mine. All the girls in the class are giving him googly eyes, But he doesn't seem to care or notice. He listens to the teacher, His ears perking at every word. I give a glance at his notes as he swaps hands.. 'He's ambidextrous.' I think looking away trying to listen to the teacher. My left hand shaking for no reason as I try to write more of my own notes.

Class goes on for about 20 more minutes. Finally the bell rings for 2nd period. I get up, accidentally bumping into Link. "Oh.. Sorry." I say quickly. He just looks at me.. There's something in his eyes.. But I can't tell what it is.. I leave quickly, feeling his eyes on me as I leave.. A feeling of embarrassment consuming me.

I enter class room 111 and take a seat at one of the pianos. Miss Miller Sits up in her chair.. A sweet smile on her bright happy face. "Zelda. It's good to see you."

"It's good to see you too." I smile starting to play a song called Mrs. Judge.

"Pretty tune." She beams. "Thank you." I say with a small smile. It takes a while for all the students to shuffle into the classroom.

The day goes by without a drawback... intel my last class. P.E... One of my least favorite classes.. I enter the gym, wearing some black shorts with small fairies on them and a white crop T shirt with my family crest on the small pocket. The shorts are high waited so it covers my belly. I stand there looking around as the P.E teacher walks up to me with a bright smile. "Little bird. I'm glad to see you changed your mind and joined my class." Urbosa smiles "Urbosa. I almost didn't " I smile, walking over to her, giving her a hug "How was France with your Father?" She asks, hugging me back. "It was boring.. Father made me stay in the room most of the time.." I say rolling my eyes as I look up at her. She pats my head. "As expected.. But I have a gift for you. I'll come by and give it to you after I'm done teaching." She says smiling. I nod feeling much happier. The rest of the people enter the gym looking bored and tired.. I see Link staring at me. I look away quickly.. Rolling my eyes as a weird feeling enters my stomach. "Alright! We're playing Doge-ball. Split up into two even teams!" Urbosa says loudly. I go to the left side of the room, feeling uneasy for no reason, trying to keep my hands occupied. I pull my hair up into a high ponytail. My long thick hair hitting the middle of my back. Urbosa blows the whistle and the game starts. I look around, seeing Link on my team and half the girls drooling all over him. I scoff looking at the other side of the room.. Standing right in front of me is... Magda. She grins when we make eye contact, picking up two balls and throwing them at me with all her might. I doge one, But the other hits me right in the Stomach. She laughs when I clutch my Stomach, my eyes watering. Urbosa blows her whistle and the game stops. "Magda! Really? On the first day! Zelda are you ok?" She asks, waving me over. I just nod, taking a seat on the bench. "Link! Go get the nurse!" She says loudly, Link nods, glancing at me before leaving the gym. "Here lay down." She says gently. "Go back to the game.. Magda, we're going to talk after class." Urbosa says with a slight scowl.
