6th rival pt. 1

(Btw some of this I was writing in a public place so I refrained from actually saying their names so no one would judge me for this.)

(Also I might not be able to update in some time because my phone will not be at my disposal, but I'm at least a I'll be able to get it back.)

Today was a normal day in January, James and Severus were chatting with each other as they walked to their next class, potions.

By now everyone was used to them being friendly so no one gave them the odd looks like they did in the beginning.

They entered class and as Severus was going to sit in his usual spot at the front of the room James grabbed his hand leading him to the back seats where his friends Sirius and Remus were sitting.

Sirius gave him an 'Are you sirius? You had to bring him here.' Look while Remus was reading his book too focused or just didn't care to acknowledge it.

"Alright then class everyone settle down and pay attention today we are making Amorntenia." Slughorn said "Amorntenia is the strongest love potion, how ever doesn't make real love-" ya da ya da ya da. Blah blah blah you know the prices of this explanation thing.

"You will be in partners, elbow partners (aka whoever is sitting next to you.)"

Remus and Sirius partnered up and Sirius seemed really happy about that but that might just be his imagination, after all they were all best buddies.

As Severus turned to James to give him instructions for the potion James used one hand to grab him by the waist and bring him closer.

"James-" Severus yelped, surprised and embarrassed about James's move.

"A love potion huh? How romantic is that?" James teased, watching Severus's face turn red.

"J-James just go get the ingredients." Severus stammered, James grinned wider, and something about the glint in his eyes told Severus he wasn't done,

With the teasing or course what did you think?

"Alright then darling~" James said before walking off to retrieve the ingredients.

Severus just just standing there frozen, blushing like his life depended on it, while Sirius was just peering from behind his shoulder like 3 yards away, eyes wide looking from Severus to James, Severus, to James, and just like

'the fuck just happened?'

Once James got to the supply cabinet to get the ingredients he was having a full blown bisexual panic.

'Oh fuck oh fuck I did not just do that'

By now the brown haired boy has gathered all the ingredients needed and headed back to his partner who by now, also recovered and was back to his normal personal, just like how the boy with glasses was.

As time went on, the onyx eyed boy ordered the other around, giving him instructions and telling him how to do stuff, some of it was different then the book said to, but the small genius reassured him that it would turn out perfectly.

The professor came by, one of the 2 partners would test the potion and the professor observed, then gave them their grades, some of them failed, others were close, some accidentally overdid it, but the majority of the class got it right.

Then came out two favorite people's turn, S and J.

"Alright then Potter, you have to drink it." At first James wanted to say no, but with Severus's eyes on him, as if asking whether he was brave enough to do it. He had to

So he drank it.

Anddddd

He felt nothing new, oh wait no he felt more obsessed with Severus, he felt like he was under a spell, his love and emotions for the raven haired boy increased.

With one swift movement he kissed Severus.

"Oh! It must've been too strong, I give it an A." And with that Slughorn left the antidote in the desk and walked away.

Severus, unable to escape James's grasp, (and kinda not wanting to) grabbed the antidote and with the moment where James allowed him to breathe between kisses he put it in his mouth, then when they kissed again, put it in James's mouth making him swallow it.

James was back to normal and a blushing mess.

"I didn't mean to I'm sorry-"

But then he was interrupted by a certain Slytherin.

"Snape follow me"
