Merry Chrismas, 5th elimination

James was racing toward the Slytherin dorms, eager to give his present to Severus.

When he arrived, he knocked on the painting (which the painting did not like) and someone opened the door. Mary.

"What are you doing here?" She snarled, Mary did not like James. And James did not like Mary. Especially cause of 3rd year James dumped green goo on Mary and then Mary threw the rest of the goo at James and attacked him, resulting in a fight that got them both detention for 5 months.

"Just here to visit a friend." James glared.

"I don't remember you being welcomed by any Slytherin here, now go away." Mary tried closing the door but James stopped her.

"I'm here to see Severus, I'm here to give him a present and no I'm not pranking him." James said, Mary's eyes lit up at the mentions of Severus which James did not like one bit.

"I've heard you two have become friends, come along then." Mary gestured into the dorm.

The other Slytherin stared, glared, and sneered at the sight of James, but he ignored it. Once they got to Severus's room.

They opened the door and there Severus was, on his bed halfway covered with a blanket and reading a book.

When he heard the door open he said,

"Mary I told you to leave me alone get out of my ro-" he started but then looked up and saw James.

"O-oh hey James," he said, obviously embarrassed by the fact his crush heard him talking to someone that way. "What are you doing here." Before James could answer Mary answered.

"He wanted to give you a present which is why I let him in, you should thank me though, if any of the others saw him they would slam the door in his face immediately, you should give me a prize. A kiss maybe?" She said, the two boys scowled immediately.

"Get. Out." Severus said threateningly. "Before I have to force you."

"Whatever." But before she left, she winked at Severus, which made James even more infuriated.

"So, is she your girlfriend or something?" James asked Severus, who gestured for James to sit beside him on the bed.

"Nope, she's some crazy ass bitch who might be inlove with me, and it's just been a week since that last guy, oh yeah I haven't told you about the last one have I?" Severus ranted but then looked at James. James got comfortable in the onyx eyed boy's bed, and layed down next to the other, who was still sat up. James also had the blanket draped over him, as he stared up at the raven haired boy.

Severus blushed but then quickly looked away before James saw.

"So there's now way you would ever date her?" James asked, gazing up at him like he was the most beautiful thing he's ever seen.

"No way, I'm pretty she's the reason that I'm no longer interested in girls anymore." Severus said, then he was pulled down by James and was laying next to him too, this times with the faces inches apart. They both blushed.

"You really into guys now huh?" James said teasingly, getting his face closer to Severus's.

The Slytherin boy blushed and immediately sat up.

James smiled at the other's embarrassment.

While this all happened, a specific someone was watching them with tears in her eyes.

"W-what?" Mary said, the two boys looked at her in surprise. "I-I thought you w-were playing hard to get, not that you actually h-hated me." Mary voice broke, then she ran off crying.

"Well that's one thing off my shoulders." Severus said .

"Do you think she thought that we were a thing?"  James said bluntly, the shorter one's face heated up at the question.

"Maybe.." he replied to the Griffindor.

"Well enough delay, open your gift." James said, pointing to the present that he left on the end of the bed.

Severus reached toward it and put it on his lap. He then preceded to open it and there were a variety of things, the gift was definitely enchanted so it could hold a lot more stuff than it could've without it.

Inside it were a lot of stuff, the rarest potion ingredients to candy and stuffed animals.

"James I can't accept this." Severus said, James just smiled.

"Of course you can."

"Now I feel bad for not getting you a gift." He said.

"Well there is one gift you could give me." James grinned.

"And what is that?"

"When you said there was one thing I could give you as a present I didn't think it would be this" Severus said as he practically glided across the ice.

"I saw you once ice skating perfectly, and you also had a book in your hand! I knew you would be the perfect teacher." James replied, his hand holding Severus's for balance, atleast that is what he said it was for.

"Whatever." He replied but he instantly smiled at the other.

"You're cute." James whispered, ever so quiet and softly but Severus heard him and his cheeks and ears became red. And when James saw this, it was immediately obvious what he had to do. "Very cute."
