Misunderstanding

You know what people? Imma write this without much detail, or will I? Idk I'll just write what comes.

Severus woke up in the hospital wing the next morning, dazed and not remembering what happened that got him there.

Then the memories came, flooding into his mind.

Mulciber stabbed him, that hurt like shit, hope he get's punished.

James came and helped him.

Hospital wing.

He heard a girls voice, Marys? What the fuck.

And- oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck no, he did not just tell James fucking Fleamont fucking Potter that he, Severus Tobias Snape, loved him

Then he remembered James leaving.

'Does he not like me back?' Severus thought, anxiety rushing into him.

'Did I mix up the signals?'  Severus was scared, scared of losing, one of his friends, scared of losing a close friend, scared of losing James.

Severus stared silently sobbing.

'I ruined everything, didn't I? Is there no way to bring it to normal?' Severus kept on sobbing, thank god Madam Pomfrey was in her office, oblivious to her awake and sobbing patient.

Severus decided it was best to just cast another glamour on him to cover his red eyes-

'Wait, I don't have my glamours on- wait, did James possibly fall out of love with me cause I looked ugly to him? I hate myself I hate myself I hate myse-' Severus kept on thinking. Until Madam Pomfrey came to the boy, and told him he had healed enough to attend classes but to still come by for some healing potions during lunch.

James was eating lunch and hadn't seen Severus all day, so of course he was just a bit moody.

"Omg James stop being so grumpy I know Severus isn't here now but damn are you that attached to him." Sirius complained.

James just slowly turned his head to him, still frowning and slowly nodded.

'Where is he? I need to talk to him about-' James thought, then saw Severus out of the corner of his eye, passing the great hall, they made the contact for just a moment but Severus quickly turned and walked the other way.

'That's weird, he doesn't usually do that anymore' so what did James do? He followed him.

'Fucking hell I get that Sev is attractive but how many bitches does he have?' James thought, Severus was being cornered by some tall Ravenclaw dude.

"Meet me at ____ tomorrow." And then the Ravenclaw walked off.

Hell no.

Which is basically why James then followed the Ravenclaw, down the hall, out into the field outside. And pushed him in the forbidden forest.

He then proceeded to knock the Ravenclaw out and drag him to the middle of the forest, which once the Ravenclaw recovered, he killed him.

Just after the Ravenclaw took his last breath, he heard it.

"James?" Severus said

James froze, no, no no no, he was too careless this time. He was easily seen, but of all the people who witnessed this, did it have to be him?

Severus got closer taking a few steps each time, until he was right behind James, in clear view of the dead Ravenclaw.

"Why?" Severus asked.
