He is anxious. Oh, he is very anxious.
But Jungkook has always been socially awkward, that's the truth. The boy, despite his muscular physique and flashy tattoos, is a shy, introverted and anxious guy.
Nothing to do with the fact that tonight he's meeting Taehyung again, of course.
On the past few days Jungkook not only revealed the brunette's photos, but also prepared a professional portfolio for the boy. Obviously a sketch, but it was a start. He thought it would be easier to talk about his friends' offer for Taehyung to do a rehearsal with them. It would make the offer more serious and professional.
In fact, the photos Jungkook took turned out spectacular. While revealing the photographs in his dark room, Jungkook couldn't stop admiring Taehyung's natural beauty and spontaneity. Hobi and Namjoon were right to insist every fucking day to Jungkook to convince Taehyung to do a rehearsal.
And it would be tonight.
Taehyung arrived in Seoul on saturday morning and attended his classes. During the day they communicated and agreed to meet at a local pub that Jungkook was familiar with. The latter offered to pick Taehyung up at his hotel, but the brunette said it would be better for both of them to take an Uber as they would be intoxicated at the end of the night. Okay, then!
Jungkook went for something simpler, knowing that Taehyung was a basic guy and didn't want to make the boy uncomfortable. He wore a baggy black jeans, a white t-shirt and a loose charcoal jacket. Nothing evidencing his muscular body as usual.
He adjusted his piercings and his long wavy locks. Jungkook wants to look good because Taehyung is just so handsome and... and- and it doesn't matter, they're only friends. I mean, they aren't really, in fact they're almost strangers to each other, but Jungkook wants a friendship with him so bad. Why? Don't know, but he wants what he wants.
The ravenette decides that it is better to get to the bar a little before the scheduled time, so he can welcome Taehyung since the boy is not used to this type of environment. As soon as he gets there, he heads to the bar and sits on a stool facing the main door so he can see when Taehyung comes in.
"Hey you!", a deep voice says from behind him and when he turns around, Jungkook comes face to face with a smiling Taehyung extending his hand to greet him. The boy returns the gesture while his eyes scan Taehyung up and down.
Why is he so effortless handsome.
The boy wears a simple baggy dark blue jeans, a white t-shirt tucked into his pants and a brown leather jacket. His hair is ruffled across his forehead, without any styling. Everything he needed to look ethereal.
Their outfit kinda matched.
"Okay now with you looking at me like that I really feel underdressed, you look amazing, everyone here looks so cool and here I am, in my cheap clothes, is it Celine?", Taehyung says smiling while holding the collar of Jungkook's jacket, sitting on the stool next to him.
"Don't play dumb, you know that you look better than ninety percent of the people in here, nice to see you again man".
They order their drinks (Jungkook with his whiskey and Taehyung with his wine), and talk about what they've done in the last few weeks since they met. All the anxiety Jungkook felt earlier vanished. It seems like the pair had known each other for years and the conversation flows easily, one topic leading to another in a constant, natural course. He couldn't stop smiling, and neither could Taehyung.
After a while, Jungkook remembers one of the reasons for this meeting, so he takes the portfolio folder from his bag and hands it to Taehyung. "Your gift, but it's more than just your revealed photographs, it's a job offer.", starts the ravenette.
