Chapter 3 Whose Getting Adopted?

(Marissa pov)

***2 months later***

"Hurry up get in your lines!" Mrs. Brooks yelled, we had to get i this long line because someone was comming to adopt, and he is supposed to be really famous.

All of the sudden this man came in, he has ginger hair and brown eyes, he scanned through all of us. Erin was late like usual and busted through the doors and got at the end of the line, her hair was in a ponytail and her face was red and had sweat all over it, she had her soccerball in her hands and was wiping her face with her hand. Her eyes got wide when she saw the man, I gave her a confused look and she gave me a look that was like you-don't-know-who-that-is? I shook my head and she nearly fainted when he came next to her. I laughed.

"Who is this?" The man asked, he had a thick British accent and Erin was now shaking as he pointed to her.

"That is Erin she has been here for two-" The guy interrupted her.

"I want her" He said. Erin now had her hands waving around her face like she was fanning herself.

The guy left and Erin came running to me.

"You don't know who that is?" She yelled at me. I shook my head. "That is Ed Sheeran! He wrote one of One Direction's songs and he si a super good singer, you might of heard A Team on the radio it is so popular now" She babbled on like that until Mrs. Brooks told her to go pack her things. "Help me?" She asked.

"Sure" We walked upstairs in silence. I can't believe Erin was leaving me, she was my first friend and she was like my bff, Melanie was more like a sister that I never had. Speaking of Melanie, she should be in her room.

I opened the door with my keys and we brought her suitcase out.

"You know I'll miss you" I said to her, breaking the akward silence between us.

"I'll miss you too" She said smiling. She put her pictures into a box and set them in her suitcase. I remember the picture af me, Melanie, and her, Erin put bunny ears over Melanie and after the picture Melanie started chasing Erin around. I laughed at the memory.

We put evrything in it and it was time for her to leave.

"Bye Erin, I'll miss you so much, don't forget to text me!" I said as I hugged her. Then Ed took her out and put her in his limo, she waved and we waved back as she left.

***1 month later***

I heard my phone beep and  started to look for it, I knew it was Valerie, the beeping was her choice as my textone for her. I finally found it charging at my desk.

Hey Gurly! People are coming to adopt someone and they r here already ur late! I gtg Mrs. Brooks just looked my way!

I changed into some hot pink jeans and a navy and white striped shirt with some navy toms and grabed my bag of carrots I was eating and headed down stairs. I ran in and Valerie was saving a spot for me right next to her, right when I got in my spot Mrs. Brooks looked over at me and raised her eyebrows. I took one of my carrots out and started to eat it.

The 5 guys must've heard me because they all turned and looked at me, the one with the striped shirt on and red jeans on looked shocked and then he smiled and pointed at me, he seemed to whine a little and then they all nodded and walked over to Mrs. Brooks and had a little coversation with her.

"Val?" I whispered. She looked at me and nodded. "What was that about?"

"I don't know, you might get adopted" She said shrugging. My eyes widened.

"But I like it here!" I whisper-yelled.

"Like I said, I don't know yet, just go with the flow" She said turning her head back to the five guys that were walking over to me and Val. I grabbed Valerie's shoulder because I didn't want to go anywhere.

Valerie was a year older then me and one of my best friends besides Erin, she's really nice and moved into my dorm with Melanie. She has dark brown silky hair and she can never curl it, she has brown eyes and she is very loud.

"Hello Marissa" The one with the buzz cut said.

"We're going to adopt you" The guy with the striped shirt said. Val looked at me and the guy.

"You two match" She whispered into my ear. I rolled my eyes at her. Then I started to reconize the guys, they were on Erin's wall. That is One Direction!

"Y-your O-one D-d-direction" I stuttered. They all nodded.

"Yep" The blonde one said popping the 'p'.

"Marissa, you have thirty minutes to say your goodbyes and pack up your things" Mrs. Brooks said. I nodded and pulled Val's arm for her to come upstairs with me.

"That's One Direction!" I yelled when we walked into my room. I grabbed my duffel and started throwing my clothes in it. Then I heard footsteps come upstairs.

"Hello!" The guy with the Jack Wills hoodie said.

"Hi" I said, looking at my new family.

"I'm Harry, thats Louis, that's Liam, that's Niall, that's Zayn, and that's Paul" He said pointing to the guys as he said their names.

"Hello" They all chorused.

"Hi, this is Valerie" I said pushing her forward.

"Hello, love" The guy with the buzz cut said sticking out his hand for her to shake it.

"Can I have one of your carrots?" Louis asked clasping his hands together.

"No! My carrots!" I said picking up the packange and hugging it.

"Please?" he said giving me the puppy dog eyes. I can't say no to those!

"One" I said handing it to him.

"Three" he said, grabbing two more, I snached the rest of them out of the bag and stuffed them in my mouth. Ha he can't have anymore.

"Marissa time to go!" I heard Mrs. Brooks yell. I said my goodbyes to everybody and left the orphanage...in a limo...with five boys...this can't go to wrong can it?
