Alex Auditore has drove up into the parking lot of the Capitol Wrestling Center for his appearance on NXT, and knowing the notorious reputation of the parking lot, the WWE Champion watched his back in case of an ambush.
The WWE Champion walked in and was taken aback by the newly revamped developmental brand, since it has long moved from its iconic location of Full Sail University where the Pharaoh made his journey of a lifetime, where he met and reunited with his former friend Finn Balor, where he met the love of his life and now mother of their daughter, the Goddess herself Alexa Bliss and where he has shared and started his memorable rivalry with current AEW star Buddy Matthews fka Buddy Murphy.
Now, walking around the new NXT, Alex sees a lot of younger talent and promising upstarts since he too watches the product on TV. And one man has captured his attention on NXT, that man is the current NXT Champion, the Mad Dragon himself Ilja Dragunov.
As Alex continued his way through the center, he is greeted by current NXT North American Champion, the man Rey Mysterio described as the future of lucha libre, Dragon Lee.
Alex: Dragon Lee, nice to meet you
Dragon: nice to meet you too, it's an honor
Alex: please, if anyone deserves honor and respect, it's you. Plus, it was satisfying watching you whooped Dominik's ass
Dragon: Dominik may be a Mysterio, but he is not worthy to honor his father's legacy, it's me
Alex: honor his words as well, amigo
Dragon: si
The two champions shared a sportsmanlike handshake before going their own ways. The WWE Champion continued to walk to the arena, but then saw three Superstars of the women's division and couldn't help but to hear Cora's name in their conversation.
The three women were Cora's wrestling "sisters," Roxanne Perez, Tiffany Stratton and Thea Hail.
Thea: Cora has to be psyched to be aligned with not one but two WWE Champions!
Roxanne: I know! She said she can't wait for us to join her!
Tiffany: can't we just get called up already?!
Roxanne: patience is always the top virtue, Tiffy
Thea then gasped as she sees the WWE Champion himself in the flesh.
Thea: girls look!
Roxanne and Tiffany turned around and gasped as they see Alex in the flesh.
Alex: sorry, I didn't mean to intrude, I heard Cora's name and yes, she is aligned with me
Thea: oh my goodness! It's an honor to meet you!
Roxanne: don't mind her. She's a hyper one
Alex: it's alright, I know all of you; I've been watching NXT very closely, and you three are amongst who stand out the most along with some handful who I want to see on Raw and SmackDown
Roxanne: that means a lot hearing from you
Alex: well I'm not the only one who is endorsing all of you
Tiffany: who else, if I ask?
Alex: well, it's my wife, the Goddess herself
The three girls gasped as they were star struck that Alexa Bliss herself watches them.
Alex: I can see it in the future. Alexa leads you three and Cora in a faction... like a family or a house
Thea: the Bliss Family!
