Emotions were running high on SmackDown this week following the huge melee that occurred involving Alex, Drew, Cora, Legacy, Asuka and the Bloodline along with Damage CTRL and the newly formed House of Bliss.

The Scottish Warrior tends to multitask in which he helps Alex while also having his hands full with Cody Rhodes and the Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The two other people they can trust are LA Knight and "Main Event" Jey Uso.

Not putting a potential second match between the Pharaoh and the Viper, they were once again taking the night off the action, however, they were booked for an interview segment, but to be in separate rooms.

The first segment is the returning Alexa Bliss addressing her alignment with the newly formed House of Bliss, in which the members were all NXT graduates, fresh out of the developmental stage.

The Goddess and her new proteges made their way to the ring and stood side by side in the center.

Alexa: did you all miss me?

The crowd gave her a warm reception as the Goddess herself took in the cheers.

Alexa: now, some of you are asking why did I align myself with these talented young ladies in the ring here with me, well because each of them reminds me of myself

Alexa went down the line, starting with the Center of the Universe herself, Tiffany Stratton.

Alexa: Tiffany Stratton... she reminds me of the ruthless side I bring to the ring, making sure the spotlight is on me at all times and that I will earn the respect of everyone

Stratton smirked as she flipped her hair and checked her nails. Then Alexa moved towards the rising Cora Jade.

Alexa: Cora Jade... she has my heart, attitude and her own skills to back it up in the ring, and I will assure you, she will become the next WWE Women's Champion

The crowd cheered as Alexa gave Cora a kiss on her forehead and a hug with a gentle back rub. Alexa then moved to Roxanne Perez.

Alexa: now, Roxanne Perez... the Prodigy herself... wise beyond her age and knows how to get the job done, yet she borrowed one of my moves. Girl!

Roxanne giggled and covered her blushing smile as the move the Goddess referred to was Perez's sunset flip pin finisher called Pop Rox, in which Alexa had a similar move to it called Code Red.

Alexa: however, that move made her one of the most decorated women NXT has seen

The Goddess put over the Prodigy as she gave her an applause of respect before finally moving to the young and feisty Thea Hail.

Alexa: oh Thea Hail... like me, she is so energetic, pumped, feisty and ready for a fight, and when she is not in the ring, she is always at ringside showing support for her good friends and partners. Chase U is sure lucky to have her in their ranks

The energetic young lady bounced and nodded as she went to the ropes and shook it Batista and Ultimate Warrior style, much to the entertainment of Alexa and the rest of the group.

Alexa: and I can say that the future of the business is in good hands, you are all looking in this ring, a house of future champions, a House of Bliss. And Damage CTRL thinks they run things around here, they run the women's division? Well Bay... consider this a warning and message to you and your girls... the House Always Wins

With the bold statement, the House of Bliss has set their sights on the dominant Damage CTRL.

The next segment was the separate room interview segment as both Alex and Randy were getting prepared while their lapel mics are put on them.

After a few minutes, the segment was ready as Michael Cole was about to speak.

Michael: well ladies and gentlemen, I want to divert your attention to the Tron as live from separate rooms for their wellbeing is an interview between WWE Champion Alex Auditore and the Legend Killer Randy Orton

The Tron showed a side by side camera view of Alex and Randy live from separate interview rooms.

Michael: now the first question is for the WWE Champion. Alex, what was going through your mind at the conclusion of your match at Backlash last month?

Alex: well Michael, I watched that match over and over and almost saw my career ended with a snap of my finger, that venomous snake attempted to kick my head off and I lost control of my emotions

The Legend Killer can only smirk as he listened.

Alex: I was told that I will defend my title against Orton, but there is also a stipulation for this match at No Mercy

Michael: speaking of the stipulation, let's go over to Randy-

Randy: shut your mouth Cole, I already know what you're about to ask me, do I know the stipulation for our match, as a matter of fact I do

Alex: save your breath, old man. Don't waste any of our precious time here, we both know at Backlash I kicked your ass so hard!

Randy: you damn right! Yet you didn't pull the trigger! You didn't beat me clean

Alex: I'll make damn sure that I'll pull that trigger Randy. Remember, you taught me everything, yes you did keep some stuff from me, yet I always exceeded your expectations, I looked up to you mentor and I earned your respect

Randy: you may have earned my respect, but those people out there, the same people you put on a show in front of, they never given me a single ounce of respect for the last 20 years. I won every title here, yet they still don't respect me

Alex: you want to know why these people don't respect you Randy?! You never learned humility when you were young. You know Batista was right about you, you were ready to be world champion in the ring, but you weren't ready outside of it. Yeah, you were my age Orton, you acted like some spoiled punk kid with the spotlight shone down on your ass. The people don't respect you because you didn't give a fuck!

Alex's words got to Randy as his face twitched a bit.

Randy: I was your age, that's right, but I was the youngest world champion in history while you were just walking to school from your slums of a home. You were stuck at home while I captured my 14th World Heavyweight Champion

Alex: you made some great points Orton, but I want to point out something, that whenever you lose a big match, you just disappeared all of a sudden for a few weeks and ready to come back on your own terms

Randy: I will make sure you disappear for a long time Alex because at No Mercy for the WWE Title, it will be you and me... in a Casket Match!

Alex was taken aback by this challenge, especially this will be his first time to compete in a match with this with very high stakes.

Alex: a casket match... fine by me because you can't kill what's already dead!

The segment ended with the two staring into the camera with fierce looks in their eyes as WWE presented No Mercy's first match graphic.
