As announced from last week's SmackDown, two huge tag team matches are scheduled to take place tonight.
The first of the two tag team matches is Legacy's Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes teaming for the first time in 13 years as they take on the Brawling Brutes' Ridge Holland and Butch. The main event is the second tag team match as the WWE Champion Alex Auditore teams with his good friend Drew McIntyre with their ally Cora Jade in the corner to take on the up and rising young team Pretty Deadly while Alex's challenger Jey Uso watches from the commentary table.
It was time for the first of the two huge tag team matches as Charlotte Flair accompanies Rhodes and Orton to the ring while the Legacy theme plays.
Samantha: this tag team match is scheduled for one fall, introducing first... accompanied by The Queen Charlotte Flair... at a combined weight of 470 pounds, the team of The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes and The Viper Randy Orton... Legacy!
Legacy made their vintage entrance from a decade ago with Orton in the middle, Rhodes on his right and Flair on his left. Orton and Rhodes got in the ring while Flair went to the ringside and watched the action from there.
Then the Brawling Brutes made their entrance all pumped up while they shouted, "fight night."
The Legacy (Randy Orton & Cody Rhodes) with Charlotte Flair vs. The Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland & Butch)
Rhodes and Butch started off the match with Butch using his unpredictable agility to try to keep the American Nightmare on his feet before fazing him with a step up kick. The Brutes have the early advantage as they kept Cody away from his corner to keep the Viper at bay for now.
Butch sent Rhodes over the top rope and took down Orton with a dropkick.

Rhodes took down Holland with a Cody Cutter, creating separation for himself as he crawled to his corner and get the Viper out for a tag. Rhodes tagged in Orton and the Legend Killer took down Butch with his signature comeback strikes. Orton threw Butch to the ring apron and got him in position before dropping the Bruiserweight with the hanging DDT.
Orton went to that place and sets up Butch for the RKO, but Ridge tried to help his fellow Brute, however Orton ducked the punch while Cody bounced Holland with the ropes before he was taken down with and RKO from the Viper. Butch tried to roll up the Viper, but Orton kicked out and takes out Butch with another RKO for the pinfall victory.
Randy then looked at the camera and fired a warning to the WWE Champion and his challenger Jey Uso.
Randy: Alex, Jey; I don't give a damn who walks out next week with the title, just to assure you that I will be a 15 time champion
(Fast forward)
It was now time for the other tag team main event match as the WWE Champion himself Alex Auditore teams with his friend Drew McIntyre to take on the young upstarting team of Kit Wilson and Elton Prince, also known as Pretty Deadly.
In addition to that, Alex's challenger Jey Uso is at commentary to get a closer look at the champion in action.
Alex Auditore & Drew McIntyre with Cora Jade vs. Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson)
The WWE Champion started off with Elton Prince and he was not impressed at the antics of the young British team.
Prince went for a headlock on the champion as he and Kit shouted their signature catchphrase.
Elton: yes boy!
Kit: yes boy!
However, the antics did not last long as Alex used his strength to lift Prince up and slams him down with a back suplex.
Alex shook his head as he analyzed Pretty Deadly's unique attire top while took the time to mock the team.
Alex: yes boy!
He said while he did the DX crotch chop to Wilson. Kit was not happy of the taunt while Jey watched from ringside trying not to laugh.
Back in the ring, Alex tagged in his friend the Scottish Warrior. Drew used his strength to Irish whip Prince to the ropes and got him for a very high back body drop.
McIntyre then saw Wilson trash talking him in the corner, the Scottish Warrior wasn't happy and decided to throw Wilson in and then took him out with a reverse Alabama slam.
(Fast forward)
Pretty Deadly managed to chop the big Scottish Warrior by chop blocking his knee, allowing Wilson to work on the bad knee.
However, still having the advantages, McIntyre got back up and nails Wilson with the Future Shock DDT. McIntyre dragged his big frame and tagged in the WWE Champion.
Alex took down Prince with clotheslines followed by a German suplex. Wilson looks to help, but Alex caught him and takes him down with a saito suplex.
Then Alex got both members of Pretty Deadly and hung them on the ropes before dropping them with a double hanging DDT.
(End of match)
Alex was measuring for Prince to get up. Wilson tried to help again, but then McIntyre had enough strength in his bad knee to take down Wilson with a Claymore while the champion finishes Prince off with an AKO for the pinfall victory.
However, as the two friends celebrate, Legacy ambushed them from behind, Alex and Drew put up a fight while Cora did the same with Charlotte at ringside.
McIntyre was taken down due to his bad knee being the target, thanks to some help from Pretty Deadly. Alex was now staring down at both Rhodes and Orton and Pretty Deadly.
However, Legacy did not play nice with others as Orton RKOed Kit Wilson and Rhodes took down Prince with Cross Rhodes. This gave Alex the chance to jump Cody and brawled with his former mentor.
As Orton and Alex brawled, Cody ambushed the WWE Champion from behind, leading to a Legacy 2 on 1 beatdown. However, Jey Uso came running from the announcer's table as he slid in the ring and took out Cody with a superkick, leading to Alex to get back in the fight and send his former mentor over the ropes.
Legacy retreated while Alex and Jey stood tall as Cora and Drew joined them in the ring. The show ended with Alex staring down at Jey was their WWE title match comes next week.
