14 The One

Millard pov
I ran all the way up the stairs and burst into Horace's room,"HORACE!" I screamed.

"AAAAAAAA," he screamed in gay and put a hand on his chest," Millard! You almost made me shit my beautiful suit! What is wrong with you?!"

"I had a dream!" I stood there frantic and Horace looked at me.

He blinked at me a couple time and said with a sneer,"you had a dream?"

"Yes," I yelled and threw my hands up.

He blinked again,"you almost made me SHIT MY PANTS BECAUSE YOU HAD A DREAM?!" He was furious.

"Horace, don't curse you could get in trouble."

He was about to explode but I kept on talking,"also IM IN LOVE WITH HER. Like I can't live without her in my life! I have to be with her," I grabbed his shoulders," Horace, y/n is the one!"

He rubbed the bridge of his nose and put a hand on his hip,"Millard we know. We've always known. You're the smartest one in this loop. How can you be so stupid and not know that she's the one?"

"You took all the romance novels from the library. And I prefer books on science and philosophy anyway."

"Oh whatever! Go get your girl!"

I turned to leave but he quickly stopped me,"oh and could you tell Victor if you see him that I said hi?" He blushed a bit.

I rolled my eyes and ran off in any direction I could. Y/n stopped going to the library after we broke up but she came in sometimes. I looked all around the house for her. I checked the basement but she wasn't there either. I ran out side to find her and Enoch sitting under the big tree playing with his homunculi. As soon as she saw me her smile faded from her face. Enoch said something to her and she shooed him away he walked past me emotionless and said a quick," hey," before leaving me and my girl.

She stood up and I walked over to her and I stood a few feet.

"Hey," I said.
"Hey," she looked away.
"Y/n-"
"Millard-"
"Sorry you go first-" we said simultaneously.
"Um so," she started and looked into my eyes,"I want to thank you."

Y/n pov
I took a deep breath,"you got me to branch out and get to know the rest of this loop. I just wish you were there with me, you know. I never wanted to be without you," I took her a tear rolled down my face.

He cupped my face and wiped my tears with his thumb. His hands were so soft. I held onto one of his hands and he leaned in but I quickly stopped him,"weren't you going to say something?"

"I was going to say that I'm hopelessly in love with you and that I never want to be without you again."

"That's good enough," I leaned in to kiss him but didn't know where his mouth is. He kissed me first instead and grabbed my waist as I put my arms around his neck. I bet I look pretty ridiculous smooching the air but that didn't much matter to me. I got my Millard back in my arms again.

I opened my eyes and saw right through him. The only thing I saw was a large shadow but there was nothing there.

"Uh, Millard? Why is there a weird shadow coming towards us?"

Hugh, Fiona, and Bronwyn screamed from the door of the backyard and ran off.

Millard turned around and held my hand. He screamed at the top of his lungs,"HOLLOW!"
