Vanessa was now on the ground and I was on top of her, seeing the opportunity I tightly clenched my fist into a ball and threw the first punch aiming for her face. One punch turned two and two turned to three. I just kept going.

But Vanessa didn't give up without a fight and with her free hand, she hit me hard in the stomach. I fell back from the pain causing more "ooooooo"s and "awww"s to erupt in the room.

I clenched my stomach and contemplated whether this fight was even worth it.

"You're just gonna give up like a coward, Mimi?" Douchebag #3 yelled and others joined, chanting for me to continue despite my evident discomfort. They wanted us to keep fighting so they could have something to talk about with their friends later.

I knew they actually didn't care about me, but the encouragement pumped me up to hit back. Then I heard another voice "Mia stop!" Saanvi shouted, being the only reasonable one in the crowd "Think about your future".

I looked back and our eyes locked. I could see the disappointment and worry on her face. She was right. If this gets put on my record, then it will decrease my chances of getting into a good university for sure.

But as I was coming back to my senses, I felt a sharp pain run across my right cheek as a greater force collided with my face, pushing me backwards. With me caught off guard, Vanessa took the opportunity to push me to the ground and top me and now she had the upper hand.

I brace my face for the punches I knew that were coming, just hoping to get over with it.

As if some divine being granted my prayers, we all heard the rusty class door creek open revealing our geography teacher looking as grumpy as ever.

Mr. khan. Finally!

I didn't even care about being caught in the odd position me and Vanessa were in or how much trouble I was in. I was just glad this whole thing was ever.

I have never been so glad to see that angry balding old man.

I never thought I would want to just go up to him and hug him since he practically saved me. But obviously, I didn't do that because Ew.

So Instead, I gave him a big smile to show my gratitude, which I don't think worked because he just gave me this weird look of disgust in return, but wherever.

"What the bloody hell is going on here!" he angrily demanded, looking at all the students surrounding us.

The whole room fell silent until the school loser, Radimir Zverev, who everyone hated spoke up "They were fighting" he said pointing to us "and everyone was filming it on their phones, which goes against your rules sir" He said lifting his glasses up his face while everyone stared at him as if they were all about to jump him, but crearly not reading the room he continued yapping in his annoying Spongebob sounding voice "but don't worry sir, I didn't film anything. I told them to stop because I don't condemn fighting. It's against the school policy"

Mr. Khan just sighed, already looking fed up with everyone. He didn't even walk up to use or further assist the situation before saying "Miss. Ingrid, Miss. Lim go to the office"
He took a seat at his desk "and the rest of you go to your seats and open up page 50 of your texts book"

"This is all your fault" Vanessa hissed at me as we sat there on the plastic chairs outside of the office waiting for the principal to call us in.

I completely ignored her. I'm too tired to continue bantering with her. If I knew this was how the day would end up, I would have just faked being sick to avoid school.
