Mia just bolted away from the group and into the unfamiliar woods, not quite sure where she was going.

The trees became her blur of escape, the crunch of leaves underfoot her urgent rhythm. She didn't look back, not even when voices called out, a mix of concern and confusion. They didn't get it. They didn't understand the need to get away, breathe, and be alone. The air was thick with tension, and she couldn't shake off her conversation with them.

"2059?...it can't be," she thought, finally coming to a halt in the middle of the woods. She had no idea where she was, how far or how to get out. All the trees looked the same. But that was the last thing on her mind.

"What's going on? What is this place?" she questioned trying to wrap her head around what they told her "It's 2024 not 2059. Are they Insane?!..maybe I'm insane!" she thought, questioning her sanity before dropping to her knees and burying her face in her hands.

"Why are all of these strange things happening to me ~" Mia whined "First, I lost Mama then I got adopted by Mr. Takahashi, then that weird necklace started glowing and took me and Mylo to wherever the hell this place is...and there's that stupid black cat too. That talking, dumb, ca–" She was about to finish her sentence before she got interrupted.

"Hey! Who in the world are you calling stupid?" the cat said, with its deep uncanny voice, appearing right in front of Mia "Real rich coming from you"

"You!" she sneered before lunging at it to grab it "Who are you? What are you? How can you talk? Huh! Tell me now!" she shook him as she tried to pry for answers.

"Oh my goodness! Quit shaking me, woman! Calm down." the cat shouted but she still wouldn't let him down.

"How the hell do you expect me to calm down when I'm talking to a talking cat? Give me answers right now! " she demanded and the cat just signed "All alright kid, what do you wanna know?" the cat replied

Mia didn't expect him to cooperate so she was surprised and put him back down. "Umm...w-where did you come from?" she asked "You're a talking cat. That's not normal. Your magical or something" Mia added but the cat signed just again

"Wow. You haven't figured it out yet huh?" he asked, seeming genuinely disappointed which confused her. "Figured out what?" she questioned.

He groaned in frustration "god, you're dumber than I thought" he mumbled to himself "Working with you is going to be rough"

"What did you say?" Mia asked, unable to hear him from how low he was speaking

"Ugh, never mind...fine I'll tell you since clearly you can't figure things out by yourself," he said in annoyance "I come from the necklace. The one around your neck"

Mia looked down at the purple gem "Huh???. What do you mean you came from the necklace?" she inquired but the cat just shrugged "I just did. It's my home and I also grant wishes like I granted that wish of yours to see the future.

"Huh!!" Mia gasped with her mouth wide open at hearing this shocking revelation "You did what? You granted what?. huh?" she was completely dumbfounded

"Oh don't tell me that smooth brain of yours has amnesia too. Don't you remember?" he inquired "You were lying on the bed with that smelly creature of yours and then you said, and I quote "I wish I could travel to the future to see how things will turn out" he mocked, exaggeratingly imitating her voice, making it higher pitch then it actually was.

"So badabing-badaboom, I did what I do best and made your wish come true. So don't act so shocked, you caused this"

Mia rapidly blinked with her mouth still gaping open as she tried to wrap her head around this wave of information.
