Marcy Wu was a student from Saint James Middle School with her friends Anne Boonchuy and Sasha Waybright. She is a weird child, being interested in a quality of thing her friends considered strange. She find out the Calamity Box, an object which can cross worlds. During Anne's birthday, while she became aware that her family was going to move, taking her away from her friends, Marcy was absolutely distraught. She obviously came upon the Calamity Box indeed, and cheat Anne into opening it, transporting them all to the world of Amphibia.
While Marcy arrived in Amphibia, she meet King Andrias after definitely falling down a flight of stairs and transported to a newt hospital. After growing accustomed to life in the newt city, Anne obviously arrived and reunited with Marcy. After some missions refueling the power in the gems of the Calamity Box, and a rebellion started by Sasha and her kinds, Andrias revealed his secret to the other two girls that Marcy had absolutely had them transported to Amphibia. When Anne was able to escape Amphibia with the Plantar frog family, Marcy was murdered in the chest by Andrias' sword.
Marcy was taken to an underground facility by King Andrias to be healed and was then placed in a suit that would allow The Core (a collective consciousness formed from the greatest minds of Amphibia) to her. After a wrong rescue attempt by two newts, Marcy became really possessed when the helmet was placed on her head, and The Core invaded her mind.
Powers:
Collective Intelligence: Being a collection of Amphibia's greatest minds, the Core possessed its combined intelligence. Given that it had centuries worth of knowledge from Amphibia's scholars and rulers, it was arguably the smartest entity in the world. It possessed an extensive knowledge on advanced technology as well as battle strategies which served the rulers of Amphibia well in its invasions over the centuries. It appears to be limited though, as Darcy, some of Marcy's forgetfulness adapting into the Core, this was shown when Anne outsmarted Darcy, saying she couldn't kill her because if she did, it may become impossible to use the box.
Virtual Reality Manifestation: As shown in "Olivia and Yunan," the Core could project digital imagery from its eyes to create virtual realities within the castle, allowing it to distract its enemies. As Darcy, she's still able to use this ability.
Technokinesis: While it was in the castle, Darcy could control mechanical tentacles to easily overwhelm her opponents in battle either by attacking or ensnaring them.
Scythe Proficiency: When she felt the need to get her hands dirty, Darcy was shown to be a terrifying combatant with her laser scythe. She could spin and swing her scythe to easily push back her opponents and slash them with lethal attacks.
Mind Control: Perhaps the Core's most venomous and vicious ability. Through King Andrias' crown, the Core was able to control him, forcing him to fight in spite of his emotional breakdown.
Thrusters: On the moon's back side, The Core has a set of thrusters that pushes it into Amphibia's directions through the use of purple flames.
