Din Djarin's point of view:

"Well it seems like you had a wonderful time then yesterday." Bo laughed after I ran down every detail of what had happened working for Luke.

"Yeah, not that bad." Ashoka laughed, "Only forty nine days left of torture." She mocked.

I rolled my eyes as I dried up a glass, "Not funny. He gets on my nerves, I don't know how im meant to put up with him." I remarked, placing the glass angrily down on the side.

"Well... he gave you a phone." No started.

I turned around on my heels to face her, "To contact me! This means I might have to talk to him outside of work. I cant even avoid him, I'm cleaning his office." My voice went all highly pitched and squeaky.

Ashoka rolled her eyes, "Come out with us tonight." Bo shot her a death glare. "We weren't gonna invite you because of... well how you are with alcohol but it seems like you need it. Maybe you shouldn't drink though."

"Are you working tonight?" Bo asked.

I shook my head, "No. I work every other day. And I defiantly will be having alcohol, after the week I've had I need it."

Ashoka smiled, "We'll pick you up then."

While I waited for Ashoka and Bo to pick me up I made sure to feed Grogu. I paced around my apartment in boredom, I had put on a nicer shirt but nothing special. I had my new phone in my pocket as well as my keys.

Knock.

I swung the door open startling Grogu, "Come on Din! We want to get there quickly so we can see the band." She exclaimed. Clearly, she had already had a few drinks.

She dragged me out and I quickly locked the door before descending the stairs. In Bo's car Ashoka was blasting music and Bo was looking very unamused. I sat in the back seat covering my ears because of how loud the music was.

When we arrived at the bar we descended the stairs into a busy room with a band playing on a small stage. Coloured lights lit up the exposed brick walls. Ashoka turned to me, "We're gonna go watch the band." She exclaimed. "Take this , get yourself something nice." She handed me some money.

She started being swept away by people when I said, "I can buy my own drinks!" I shouted.

"Just take it!" She shouted in response.

I sighed and made my way over to the bar where I sat down - I knew I was going to be here for a while. "What can I get ya?" The bar lady  asked while mixing up someone else's drink. She finished it and handed it to them and they walked away.

"Whisky please." I flinched a smile.

"Coming right up." She took the bottle of the shelf and began doing god knows what.

I rested my head on my hand and dreaded that tomorrow I would have to go back and work with him. Luckily I wouldn't have to work at the cafe again until Friday, therefore I could recover from whatever major hangover I was about to torture my self with.

The bar lady placed the drink in front of me, "That'll be £4.10 please." She extended her hand.

I handed him some of the money that Ashoka had given me and then he handed me back some change.

I shifted on the barstool slightly so I could see the band as I drank. They were good, not exactly my style - far too shouty for my taste but they were very talented. I always liked this place, a small place that was quite unknown (and they always had good music on).

I saw Ashoka and Bo , who had pushed their way to the front of the crowd. Ashoka danced wildly while Bo just moved her shoulders but both looked thrilled by the music.

It was nice to admire the music from afar, much quieter, not as busy. I was the only one sat at the bar, everyone else was dancing in front of the stage and taking in the music.

I nodded my head to the music in between sips and then as the crowd got louder and lights got more flashy ; I turned my back to the stage and spoke to the bar lady , "Could I have another?" I pushed the money towards her.

She nodded and she grabbed the bottle and poured another, "Rough day huh?" She laughed.

"You can say that again." I finished off the drink I already had and pushed it away from me.

"Wanna talk about it?" She asked taking the glass away from me and putting a new drink in front of me.

I shrugged, "Not really. Just got into some money trouble with some rich cunt. I owe him loads now." I remarked taking a sip from my drink. "Hey, I've never seen you here before, are you new?"

She shook her head, "Nah. I'm the manager, usually in my office or making food. Loads of staff called off sick today though so I had to."

"Ah I see." I took another sip. "Leia," I pointed to her name tag, "Nice name."

She smiled, "Aren't you a charmer.? Thank you." She laughed briefly.

My head had began to ache a bit however I finished off my drink and then said, "Another? Please?" I added on the end.

She hesitated, "You sure?" She asked, raising her eyebrows. I quickly nodded pushing the glass and some money towards her. "Okay, coming right up."

She handed me another glass and I downed it almost immediately. I looked around for Bo and Ashoka but couldn't find them anywhere. "Do you know-" I slurred my words slightly.

"I think they left dearie." She gave me a sympathetic smile.

"Oh. Can I have another?" I asked blinking slowly.

She shook her head, "No. I don't think that would be good for you mate."

"Ugh!" I groaned now feeling my head pounding. "I'll just text them to pick me up, thanks for the drinks Leia." I waved goodbye and she hesitantly did so as well.

I tripped up the stairs and once I was outside I pulled out my phone and texted Ashoka.

Can you come picck me up please?,??, you just leffff me.

I certainly hadn't typed it perfectly but it didn't matter.

Pick you up? From where?

The bar duh 🙄

Just hold on

It was strange, Ashoka didn't text like this. And what did she mean, where?

I slumped down against the wall until eventually I was sat down in a puddle on the floor. Finally I heard a car park and someone pulled me up off the floor. "Oh my word. Let's get you in the car." It didn't sound like Ashoka but then again I was very drunk.

Next thing I new I was asleep in the passenger seat of a car.
