Din Djarin's point of view:
As soon as I escaped from the hell that was Luke's office I went straight to Ashoka's house. I dropped Grogu off there as I wanted, one for him to be in a warm house and two, to go and get a drink. Luckily, Ashoka gladly accepted the offer and I went straight to the bar her and Bo had took me to just the night previously.
Once I had descended the stairs I saw Leia working on the bar and went straight over to her. She finished cleaning a glass and then looked up and spotted me, "Whoah ho! Here comes trouble." She laughed as she picked up another glass to polish.
With a grin on my face I sat down on the leather bar stool and glanced around quickly, "Quite calm tonight?" I suggested, only seeing around ten people in front of the band.
"Yeah." She sighed, "Not good for money but great for my health. Honestly, the other night I left with a migraine." Her groan turned into a laugh.
"I thought you didn't work the bar though usually. I'm shocked to see you here tonight." I explained.
She poured a drink and then said, "Yeah but I suppose it's now an excuse to watch the bands. Quite fun, it's like a free concert." She paused. "Not really though since I pay them to be here." She chuckled to herself.
I hummed, "What do you think of this one?" I asked, glancing at the band performing.
"Oh they're shit." She snapped. My head turned quickly and my eyes widened. "They are so shit." She repeated, "No wonder it's a calm night, the wont be hired again." She pushed a drink in front of me, "Here."
"Oh, I didn't order anything." I held my hands up.
"I know." She pushed it further towards me, "Just drink it." She laughed.
"Oh well I don't really have the money for it right now." I grimaced as I spoke to her.
She smiled weakly, "It's on the house."
"Really?" I asked, my finger tracing the rim of the glass.
She nodded, "You look like you need it. Now tell me," she leaned closer, "what happened?" She raised her eyebrows in intrigue.
I took a swig and then began to explain, "Me and my boss... well we don't get on. He's kind of not my boss though because I'm not being paid, anyway, we were going at each other today, nothing could be said without retaliation. Well he made a few comments about my, financial issues," I mumbled, "and I brought up his family issues."
Her mouth was agape, "How do you know his family issues?" She asked.
"It's pretty infamous." I elaborated. She nodded in understanding. "I'm not proud of what I did, it was low. But he was as well."
She nodded. "I see. Is they're anything else? I feel like there is more." Sue laughed to herself already knowing the answer.
"Yes!" I exclaimed, relieved to finally get this off my chest, "You know when I was absolutely smashed last night?" She nodded, "Well I messaged him instead of my friend. I slept in his bed! In his clothes! When I came down the next morning he was making breakfast... shirtless!" I frantically explained.
Leia shrugged as she leaned against the counter, "Sounds quite sweet. Husband material if you ask me." She snorted.
My face filled with hyper looser disgust, "No chance in hell! In no universe will that be happening."
She smirked, "I'm just messing with ya." She paused, "What you doing tonight?" She asked.
"Going home and then sleeping?" I asked confused on why she needed to know.
"Come back to mine, we can do some shots or something. Take your mind off it." She offered.
Briefly, I contemplated the offer, "No, I don't want to intrude, besides I'm not a fun drinker any way. To add to that I would have to walk home drunk."
"You can stay at mine?" She explained as if it was obvious. She looked down at her watch, "I get off in ten minutes, come back to mine." She smiled.
I grinned, "Ahh fuck it."
Time skip brought to you by fry light roast potatoes (they are awful, always use butter x).
~;~;~;~I had ready had so many drinks after only being at Leia's house for thirty minutes that when she poured me another I didn't even know what drink this was. We were both laughing about God knows what and off our faces.
We were sat on the floor, with a collection of bottles and shot glasses in between of us, "Your boss sounds like a right prick!" She exclaimed some of her words briefly mixing together.
My head was so foggy, "Yeah. Suppose he's kind of hot though, when he's angry, wow!" I exclaimed rocking back and forth on my knees. "His words are awful but my god it's so... I don't know."
"Attractive?" She offered.
I attempted to shake my head and then swallowed, "No, more like... sadistic. But like in a hot way." I grinned and burst out laughing. I didn't even know why I was saying this, none of it was true, I felt like I was putting on a show for her.
"Din!" She exclaimed joining in on my laughter. "You like it when he's rude to you?" She cracked up.
"Mhm!" It wasn't true at all. "Maybe its sexual? I don't know." I was spluttering.
"Oh my good Din, I don't want to hear about how you find your boss' abrasive nature sexually attractive." She laughed lying down on her back.
I joined her lying down on the floor, every few minutes we would break the silence with a chuckle but then we both went silent and fell asleep.
