Chapter 19 - Becca's Secret/ Helping Sam

Several days later, back at Becca and Loki's apartment, Loki is bringing in their groceries. He shouts, "Darling, I'm back. Where are you?"

"Why don't you come find me?" Becca calls out to him.

Loki puts the groceries on the kitchen counter and squints his eyes as he is confused by Becca's response. He then slowly notices that their bedroom is open slightly. So the goes in. Once inside, he sees that the floor is covered with rose petals and Becca is on the bed with lingerie. He tilts his head and smiles. "Wow."

She laughs. "Hey."

"What's all this?"

"Just something special. Besides, it's close to the six-month anniversary of our marriage."

He smiles. "Oh yeah."

Becca and Loki smile and kiss each other. He then lies down. "Loki, you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm just tired," Loki replied. "All this traveling has made me sleepy."

"Oh, come on, you can't be tired. Is it only 10 am?"

"I know. But traveling like that, fighting against a bunch of super-soldiers, makes you tired. Aren't you?"

"No. Too happy and excited to sleep." Loki glances at her, confused, then shuts his eyes. Becca sighs, slightly disappointed that her rose petal idea didn't work. She then leans over to him and whispers, "Loki."

"Yes, darling?"

Becca pauses. "You know how I said that I hate surprises?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, there's something I have to tell you." She pauses. "You're gonna be a daddy."

A few seconds later, after she said it, his eyes opened, and he turned to her. She smiles at him, and he smiles back. "Are you serious?" he asks. She nods her head. "My god! You're gonna have a baby!"

"Yeah," she replies.

"Really?"

"Really."

They start laughing. Loki then looks down and puts his hand on Becca's stomach. "I can't tell."

"Well, you will."

He then leans over towards her. They gaze into each other's eyes. "Oh, Rebecca, I love you."

"I love you."

He passionately kisses her. "This is gonna be great!"

"I know it will."

"Oh god!" Loki replied "So is it a boy or a girl? I bet it's a boy."

"I'm only six weeks," Becca answered. "We won't find out the gender for another couple of weeks."

"Okay, but whatever it is, I will love them just as much as I love you and Sarah." They laugh, hug, roll around in the bed, and kiss each other.

Suddenly, Sarah comes in and says, "Mommy!" She jumps on the bed and sits between them.

"Hey you!" says Becca.

"Did you just wake up?" asks Loki.

"I heard you and Mommy talking," Sarah replies.

"Oh," says Becca. They all chuckle.

"Should we tell her?" asks Loki.

"I don't see why not," Becca replied.

"Tell me what?" Sarah asks. Loki and Becca look at each other and smile.

At the same time, in a hotel in Louisiana. It's morning, and the sun is shining in Bucky and Sofia's hotel room. They're both asleep. But when the light hits their eyes, it wakes them up. Bucky turns to her and says, "Morning."
