I watch as she walks out

Hood up

Face down

My heart aches

I so badly just want to wrap my arms around her and protect her from the world

But even if I wanted to it could never happen

Giovanni comes back sitting back down opposite me

"What was that?" He asked

"She's agreed to give us inside information, like weak points and other things" I said

I watch Giovanni's eyes almost narrow towards me

I can tell there's a loaded question about to come my way

"So why let her walk?" He asked sipping his whiskey

"Cause at the end of the day, she's still with them"

As much as I hate that

Not a lot I can do till we move in

"You still love her don't you?" He said

And no words came out

Of course I did

But at the end of the day the more we're together the more damage I end up causing

"What makes you think that?" I ask

Crossing my arms I leaned back into the chair looking straight at him

"Leo.... I know you better anyone, and even if you don't want to admit it you still love her, so stop bullshitting me and tell me the truth"

Sometimes I could quite happily strangle this man to death

But before I can say anything Hudson and Logan join us

"What we talking about?" Hudson asks

But before Giovanni can say anything I cut him off

"Just business stuff" I say

Gio just chuckles to himself sipping his whisky

"Give us a second" I say

I get up and leave the pub

Grabbing a cigarette I light it

Taking a quick puff I start walking in a certain direction

I head towards Sage as she's in front of me

I grab her wrist enough to stop her in her tracks

She turns to look at me

I can see the fear at first but it quickly turns into calm

"Answer me one thing" I say

"What?" She asks
