As the music hits my ear I snap out of my thoughts.
"So are we?" Mia asks
What was she on about
The invitation I had come through the door.
To be honest the only part that intrigued me what the 'we have important big news to break'.
Like is someone pregnant, dead or getting married.
My guesses is someone's dead.
Fuck it
"Sure why not"
Mandy and Mia both start clapping and doing a little excitable dance.
"So we need to buy dresses" Mandy smiles
"No" I scoff
They both pull a confused look at me in sync.
Honestly the way they act you could mistake them as sisters.
"I mean I haven't got money to buy a new dress so whatever is in the closet will have to do" I explain
They both share a look before putting the dresses in their hands back onto the rack.
"On a different note, Arthur and you seemed cozy" Mandy digs at Mia
I can see a little smile appearing on Mia's lips as she puts her head down.
"I don't know what you mean" she says so shy
I laugh grabbing my phone out of my bag.
"Well on a sad note ladies we have to get going"
They both link arms before linking arms with me as we all head out the shop.
"So have you spoken to Leonardo?" Mia asks
"No"
To be honest I hadn't even thought of it.
"Don't you think you should talk to him?" Mandy questioned
She's right I probably should.
I mean after all he brought the place I work.
But how the hell do you approach a conversation like that.
Oh hey I was thinking now you own the place I work, this maybe awkward.
I mean we ain't together but sleeping together.
Now technically you're my boss.
Like no thanks I'd rather not have this conversation.
"You lost in thought" Mia laughs
"Sorry, I'm just thinking I need more vodka"
They both laugh because of how random that sounds.
Though it is true.
