Sitting on a curb with a cigarette in between my lips watching these teens skateboarding past.
Honestly is it bad I'm waiting for one of them to fall, face planting the floor?
Yeah now I'm saying that out loud it does sound bad.
I watch them stop down the corner before a few girls arrive and they all head off.
I blow the smoke out my mouth as I just watch.
Almost like I'm expecting them to all the sudden turn and come back my direction.
"Oh there you are" Mia laughs to herself
She sits down on the curb next to me before leaning her head onto my shoulder.
"What we looking at?" She asks
"I just saw a few kids on skateboards going up the road" I reply placing the cigarette back in my mouth
It sounds so wired to say this but Mia and Mandy are almost like sisters.
The way one could be lost in thought and the other just knows what to do.
Plus we really do act like sisters.
"Oh are we still on for tonight?" Mia asks
I hum in response still looking at the direction the kids went.
"I'll be back in a few" I say
She takes my cigarette before taking a puff herself.
I just laugh walking off.
As I reach the end of the road I turn around the corner and head into the shop.
"Alright there Sage"
"Oh you alright Arthur"
"Haven't seen you in a bit?" He questions
"Yeah you know me" I smile
He chuckles as he serves someone else.
I look down aisle to aisle before grabbing a bottle of vodka.
As much as I loved Mia and Mandy them on a night out can be chaos.
And I really can't be arsed to deal with them sober.
I walk up to the counter as Arthur grins.
"Grab another bottle" he says
"Nah ones enough"
"I come off shift in a few and I need a catch up so grab another"
I sigh before turning around and grabbing another bottle.
As I walk back I see Arthur paying for the first bottle.
"Seriously?"
"Yep and we all know Mia and Mandy will help"
