Monday made him realize that the gang was truly done with him.

Kenny had gotten so used to everyone meeting him at his house that he left for school late, after he spent an hour waiting for them to show up. It set a negative tone for his morning, a deep frown settling into his face as he started down the sidewalk alone for the first time in years. Even Craig had left without him, though since Leo was with him, it made sense.

That was a problem in itself. Kenny had wanted to be able to follow them to school to make sure no one was after Leo, but he had waited too long. He knew that he had to watch his own back, except with his ability of immortality, Kenny didn't see the importance of doing so.

Approaching the school alone was a bit more intimidating than he thought it would be. It wasn't that he was nervous about the other students, he was more concerned about how his interactions with the gang would be now that they hated him. Kenny had a lot of classes with them, and even sat next to Kyle in a few. He wouldn't have been surprised if they tried to fight with him again.

Walking into the school, it was just as chaotic as always, even though the school had been closed the previous week because of David's murder - the kids carried on normally. That's the way it was in the city. He had come to understand that years ago, but still, Kenny glared at all of them. He wished they at least pretended to care about other people's lives.

His eyes caught Craig and Leo meeting up with Tweek. The rest of the gang was nowhere to be seen as the three of them continued down the hall, unaware of the taller one starting to follow them. He didn't care if he looked like a psycho stalker, Kenny was not going to let Leo die, or fall back into the grips of the Mob.

It was easy to watch him for most of the day. He was good at fading into the background when he wanted to. Kenny mixed in with whatever crowd he could, it helped that he was tall too, as he was able to see over mostly everyone's heads. His stalking was interrupted when Kyle caught a glimpse of him moving through the hall with his hood up. The orange jacket was always a dead give away.

Running to catch him, Kyle roughly grabbed his shoulder. Although Kenny knew that something like this was coming, he didn't want to be interrupted watching Leo, it was too important. Kyle didn't care what Kenny had been doing, obviously, immediately getting in his face like he did on Saturday: "Got anything more to say, McCormick?"

He was trying to rile him up. Before shit hit the fan, Kyle never called him by his last name - he knew how much it bothered him. Since there was no point in trying to communicate with Kyle yet, Kenny pulled his hands away from his jacket gently. "Nothin' you'd listen to."

Spotting Stan approaching from behind, Kenny sent him a wave before he continued walking in the direction of where Leo had gone. He hated the way Kyle looked at him, it hurt, but he couldn't waste time arguing with him. Kyle was the most stubborn person that he knew, when he set his mind on something, he refused to listen to reason. One person at a time. I'll fix things soon.

When he turned a corner to catch up with Leo, he was surprised by what his eyes landed on.

The Neo Nazis were blocking his path towards Leo's next class, making an appearance in school for the first time in weeks. The three large guys stood in his way, their arms crossed over their chests as they waited for the rest of the students around to slip into a class.

Once the hallway was empty, Kenny sighed dramatically, and threw his backpack off to the side, ready for a fight.

The assumed leader of the Nazis chuckled at the action, not moving his arms away from his chest. "We're not here for you." He almost lowered his fists from the blocking position at this, but Kenny didn't trust them after everything. "Butters has to come back home."
