* It was a normal day of patrol before Lucy got called to a house shooting involving an important person. When she arrived, she saw 2 bodies on the ground. She was in shock, but she remembered that seeing those things are part of the job and that its just how bad people are. She did some looking around, then she heard a noise, and she yelled out *LAPD* she saw a girl behind her around the age of 12-13.
Lucy: "Hi I'm officer Chen what's your name".
Gracelyn: "Gracelyn or Grace".
Lucy: "Hi Grace how old are you and do you know what happen". *She said in a clam voice making sure not to startle her*.
Gracelyn: " I'm 13 and I don't quite remember all I know is my parents are gone". *She said while tears start dropping down her face*.
Lucy: "Hey its ok I'm here with you ok". * She said while hugging Grace*
Lucy: "7 Adam 100 I need an RA at my location also detective Lopez I have one victim alive and 2 are dead"'
Woman: "7 Adam 100 sending officers to your location".
Gracelyn and Lucy sit there waiting for Lopez when Grace starts saying she thinks she knows who killed her parents.
Gracelyn: "Hey officer Chen I think I know who killed my parents."
Lucy: "You do that good do you think you could tell me".
Gracelyn: "I think my grandma did it because she came over today for brunch and I was in the living room when I heard loud arguing happening in that room. I thought it was just another fight because my parents hate my grandma, so I didn't think any of it. So, I continued doing what I was doing but then I heard my name. And I was like oh their fighting over me that's new, so I went closer to the room they were in, and I heard my parents say."
Flashback
Grace's Mom: "No mom she is not going to do she is only 13".
Grace's Grandma:" Why does it matter if she is only 13, she can still unlock the money".
Grace's Mom:" so, what if she is only 13, she can't unlock it we haven't told he yet about it".
Grace's Grandma: " I'm only telling you one time and one time only I'm taking her with me, and she is unlocking MY MONEY".
Grace's Dad: "MOM NO SHE IS NOT SHE IS OUR DAUTHGER AND IT IS OUR RIGHT AND OUR MONEY NOT YOURS OK".
Grace's Mom: " Honey its ok, mom let's do this when Gracelyn turns let's see 16, we can take her to the bank, and she can unlock the account and we will give you half of the money".
Grace's Grandma: "NO I NEED THAT MONEY NOW OR IM TAKING HER WITH ME".
Grace's Mom: " Mom please she is the only thing we have".
Grace's Grandma: " well that's too bad I'm getting that money one way or another".
* Gun shots are fired, and Grace's Grandma leaves the house without seeing that grace saw all of that*.
End of Flashback
Lucy: "I'm sorry that you had to see that".
Gracelyn: "Its ok but promise me that you'll find her please I mean what if she come after me what's going to happen".
Lucy: " Hey nothing is going to happen to you ok I promise you that".
* What will happen next when Detective Lopez arrives*
