[Kanade pov]

My eyes slowly began to pry open, and I sat up, glaring at my bedroom door. I hadn't gotten any sleep ever since someone knocked on my door. I couldn't sleep a wink out of paranoia that it was that Hajime girl or her goons.

I rolled out of bed, hitting the floor with a thud, and stood up before changing into something more comfortable-just a t-shirt and some really comfy pants-but enough that I wouldn't look like a slob. I fixed up my hair, deciding I'd take a bath when I got back.

I opened my door and looked outside to the left and then to the right, but I didn't see anything, so I slowly crept out of my room, rushing down the stairs at an immeasurable pace, and as I got to the lobby, I rushed out the door, bumping into Raden.

"Kanade!? What a surprise!" She laughed

"Eeep!!!" I squeaked like a mouse falling to the ground. I saw her eyes practically bulging out of her head as she worryingly scrambled to pick me up.

Raden was worried. "sorry!" She cried out.

"I- It's fine I wasn't ready to see a person."I told her.

Raden began to walk by my side as she did earlier in the day. "Are you excited?"

"For what?" I ask.

"For yakiniku??" She replied

"I am. Even though I can get yakiniku back in Korea, I have to admit it is a little different back in Japan," I mentioned.

"How so?"

I glared at her. "It's just a different feel."

A different feel that is such an odd way to phrase something I can't put into words since I'm so let's say "socially awkward." If only I could express myself more to her, but she isn't Ao and Ao is the only woman I have been able to kind of express myself to.

"I'm excited to see Senpai!" Raden declared

"Oh yeah, that was today." I muttered

Raden got behind me and said, "Don't be afraid!"

Her breath hit my neck, and that made me shiver in fear; it's creepy. I wish she hadn't done that to me; she quickly came back in front of my sight line.

"By the way, can I borrow some yen? I kind of spent almost all I have on pachinko and more Winston."

"I-No!" I yelled

Actually, now that she brings that up, where is my wallet!? I don't remember having it ever since I ran away from Hajime, but I hadn't thought about it until right about now.

I don't want to bother Raden, though, so I won't bring it up right now, but maybe she knows where it is because it had to have fallen out around the area where their little base was.

"Fifty yen!!!!" Raden's eyes lit up, and she lunged at the money, grabbing onto it tightly.

She is genuinely one of the only people that would get excited over a mere 50 yen, but then again, she needs the money since she wastes hers.

"Look, Kanade, fifty yen!!!" She cheered

This girl reeks of desperation.

"We are here. Let's go inside!" I said

I'm hoping it'll be less awkward inside...

I stepped indoors and sat down at one of the tables, realizing that Raden and I were early. We waited about a couple of minutes. I was focused on my phone when I felt an arm wrap around me. "Ao?" I questioned
