[Kanade pov]
Hajime-tan stood up, stretching a bit. "Kanade-san, I apologize for the long story," she said softly.
"I really don't mind, plus I asked!"
She sighed "Thank you for listening."
"No problem!" I blurted out suddenly.
She realized she had forgotten something. "I'll be right back!" She told me before vanishing into her room.
Todoroki laughed. "You like her, don't you?"
His question completely flew over my head: "Of course she's a good friend!" I said
"No, you love her," he softly said.
*Love?*
"No way," I said to him, "we just met."
"You seem like you've watched her for a long time," he mentioned, calling me out.
"I have-but love?" I paused. "It can't."
"I'm back!" Hajime-tan said loudly as she sat next to me, and I felt myself heat up suddenly. "What's wrong?" She asked me
"I just feel a little hot!" I said
She tilted her head. "I guess it is a little hot."
"Yes, very hot!" I blurt out
Todoroki laughed at my sudden fluster. This is his fault. I'm like this.
"Can you get me a glass of water?"
Hajime stood up. "Okay Onii-chan..."
As soon as she vanished, Todoroki grinned. "See?" He laughed, giving me a cheeky thumbs up.
*urrr... this brat*
"It's just a coincidence!" I reply loudly.
"What is?" Banchou asked as she arrived, placing the water in front of her brother gently.
"Uhh...the fact that you share the same last name as your brother!" I shout
Hajime-tan glared at me. "That's...are you okay?" She questioned, while her brother was dying, laughing silently, so his sister didn't notice.
"Sorry, I just said things," I say softly.
"You seem panicked; are you that scared of me?" Hajime-tan questioned
"No-not at all!"
"Well, then why are you flustered?" She asks
"It's your brother..." I tell her.
Banchou looked at her brother and asked, "Kanade-san, are you afraid of him?" She laughed
"No, it is just something he said!" I told her.
"Don't provoke her onii-chan..." She sighed
"I'll promise to try," he laughed.
Hajime-tan furrowed her eyes. "Onii-chan, try harder or you're out of here." She said
"Have some compassion for your frail brother!" He yelled
"Didn't you say you wanted me to be rough on you? Pick a lane, damn it!!!" Banchou yells
*pfft*
I began to laugh. Hajime-tan looked at me and said, "Don't laugh bastard!" She whined
"I-I'm sorry! It's just too adorable!" I laugh
"You... Ugh-let's eat." Banchou sighed as she angrily took a bite of her cake. I teased her well; she seemed to fall for the bait.
Her brother's words echoed through my head. *You love her* His words made my head feel like it was spinning. This may be what being drunk feels like. I wouldn't know since I have never been drunk once.
