[Hajime pov]
"Ahhhhhh...."
*I screamed into my pillow*
"So noisy!" My brother shouts
"Bro, you don't know what happened! Kanade-san asked me out-well she asked me to the festival. I wasn't prepared for it!"
"What?" My brother questioned
His expression was odd it was like he was expecting Kanade-san to ask me to the festival or something. It was like he knew that Kanade-san would rather go to the festival with me than Ao-tan.
"Maybe she loves you..."
*I glare at my brother*
"That's rich, she wouldn't love someone like me. She's attached to me but that's because we're friends. You shouldn't talk love anyway. Think about it you can't even confess to Hitomi..."
"Wait... how'd you know about my crush!?"
"We all know..." I sigh
"Urrr, I can explain!"
"You better have a good explanation..."
"Hitomi is just so beautiful. Whenever I see her I am at a loss for words so I can't express my feelings properly! It's not that I'm afraid to tell her I love her or anything!"
"It's not easy to confess huh?" I laugh
"Is that why you haven't confessed to Kanade-san?" My brother asks me softly
"Eh... I... I don't love her like that!"
"Is that so?" My brother asks slyly
"YES!"
"I hear you giggling when you talk to her late at night, or was that just my imagination?"
"It was!"
My brother laughs and so I put him in an armbar "I'll stop teasing you!" He shouts
"Kanade-san..."
Flashback...
"Hajime, what are you doing?" Ririka asks
"I feel like I'm being watched..."
"Aren't you a little paranoid?" Raden asks
*she taps her cigarette on her ashtray*
"It's possible, but I don't know... it seems like in class there is a hole being burnt into my head by someone."
"Who would stare at you?" Raden asks
"Huh!?"
"I don't mean it negatively Banchou!"
"Kanade wasn't that her name?" I ask
"What?" Raden hums
"The girl that has been watching me her name is Kanade, she kind of seems familiar."
"She's an insignificant mouse to us... we can't let ourselves falter..." Ririka claimed
"She came all this way to return me this keychain. My brother actually gave me this as a gift so I'm glad that I didn't lose it."
"That was considerate of her!" Raden claimed with a giant smile on her face.
"Raden... can you tell me something?"
"What is it Banchou?"
"Is there anyway I can become friends with her!?"
