[Kanade pov]

"Kanade-chan!"

Ao-san showed up with an outfit Hajime-tan custom tailored for me.

"Here, good luck on your date..."

*I began to blush*

"Ao-san... this isn't a date... well, we aren't dating... I do want to date her though. You know that though."

"Kanade-chan, what's wrong?"

"I, uh, I want to ask Hajime-tan why she protected me the day when I was about to be kidnapped by some boys. She doesn't seem to remember me, but I remember her!"

"Banchou saved you out of the kindness of her heart, I'm sure of it."

"Ao-san, you're saying Hajime-tan is kind? You were the one so skeptical of our friendship!"

"Yeah, well, things changed; you opened my eyes to that... Ririka-chan as well. I misjudged both of them in the past. Now Ririka-chan is my girlfriend, so I hope you'll get your girl as well."

"...thank you?"

I think it's odd that she's being so supportive. Although it makes me feel as if I can confide in her more, I feel like we were sort of distant because of her overprotective nature.

"Hold it, aren't you going to the festival? Ao-san, you have to go with Ririka!"

Ao-san bit her lip. "I suppose I could..." her tone was in her ikemen voice. She does sound hot, but unfortunately it never worked on me, despite how seductive it was.

"I'll see you there then!" I say loudly

"I... I never said I would go..."

"Well, you said you suppose you could, and that is good enough for me to be honest!"

*Ao-san sighed*

"I'll see you there..."

She relented, agreeing to come with Ririka-chan. With that, she parted from my dorm room.

*Wait, couldn't Hajime deliver this?*

I walk out of my room and knock on her door. "What?" She opened the door, and as soon as she saw me, she leaped backwards. "Kanade-san... what brings you here?"

"Thank you for the kimono; is there a reason as to why you couldn't deliver it yourself?"

"Well, I thought you were out!"

"I was; I just had gotten back to the dorm, but you still could have delivered it to me before the festival."

"My mistake!"

*I could smell the faint scent of alcohol.*

"You've been drinking..."

"Yeah..."

"Hajime-tan, there is something I need to ask you; its really important to me. Can you please answer me this? Back in the day, why did you-"

Raden leaned back. "Kanade!" She called out to me loudly, cutting my off mid sentence.

*I wave*

"What were you going to ask me?"

"It... it's not that important..."

Hajime-tan tilts her head. "Okay?" She questioned; she clearly was confused by me.

Raden looked on awkwardly. "I messed up. Sorry, Kanade. I will make sure to stay out of your way later on tonight. Go get her tiger!"
