[Kanade pov]
"Sooo, what should we do?" Raden asked me I glared at her, not really expecting to do anything. I don't really want to do anything but walk home, although I do have an hour to burn.
I sigh and respond to her question, "What do you want to do?"
"Well... things!" She laughed
"Things..." I say it unenthusiastically.
"Yeah!" She cheerfully laughs.
"To be completely honest, I think Banchou kind of spurred this upon us. I think it is a little odd that she didn't want you to come over immediately." Raden claims
I looked at her in perplexity. "Are you worried?" She nodded and began to explain her perspective to me so I could understand her.
"You see, Banchou isn't one to clean her place; really, she is neat and tidy, but if her place was a mess, she would just let you over; she doesn't feel embarrassed letting people into her place."
After Raden's explanation, I began to wonder why she would tell me to come by after an hour had passed. That is a little odd to ask, but I won't judge her, I suppose.
Raden pulled out her cigarettes and slipped one out, putting it in her mouth, slowly getting her lighter out. A moment later, the flame lit up, and soon smoke was in the air. "Ahhh," she exhaled.
"I thought we discussed that you wouldn't smoke in front of me."
Raden nodded. "Sorry, but I just wanted to."
I can't fault her for that, and I can bear with it. However, I think she shouldn't be doing this for her health. She needs to understand that her health is more important than anything else. She doesn't seem to think she has a problem.
"Do you want to go get something to eat?"
I shook my head, gave it some thought, and then nodded. "Let's go." I said, but she clearly saw how unsure I was right now, and she decided something for me.
"How about we just get a light snack?"
"A light snack should be fine..." I mumble
Raden and I are really going out to eat for some reason, but I'm not complaining, I guess.
"Ramen?" I asked as we got to our destination. Raden eagerly jumped up and down.
"I'm excited!" Raden loudly said
I laughed at how she was acting. She is adorable, to be honest. "Me to." I giggle. Raden noticed my smile, and she smiled too.
"You know, I was shocked earlier when Riri showed us her motorcycle!" Raden said
"Shachou is talented, isn't she?" I ask
Raden nodded. "Riri is a prodigy!"
"So is Hajime-tan!" I mention
Raden looked deep into my eyes, smiling. "You like Banchou a lot!" She comments
"I like Banchou?" I question
*Why did I bring her up?*
"Yeah, you seem to really care about her!" Raden replied
"Ahh, she's a good friend!" I replied
"Yeah, you did just become friends after all," Raden mentioned with a mischievous laugh that I didn't understand.
"I kind of want to see Banchou..." I mentioned Raden looked at me, surprised, but she nodded, knowing what I wanted.
