Chapter 46: Dance Practice

[Hajime pov]

"Hajime wake up idiot!"

*I slowly open my eyes*

"Ugh... Bro, I had a weird dream. I asked Kanade-san out, and we started dating. Isn't that an odd dream?"

"Dream? That actually happened; you told me about it when you came home last night!"

"I... What!?"

"Nevermind that, you'll be late to your dance lesson if you don't get up right now!"

"Right, can you call Ririka?"

"To invite her? Why not ask your girlfriend to go with you? Wouldn't that be nice to do?"

"You're right I should ask Kanade-san to go with me to my lesson, but I don't know if she'd be interested in doing something like that with me."

"You're suddenly full of worries; my little sister is being kind of pathetic compared to usual-you're the girl who beat up a bunch of thugs because they made fun of your voice. Yet you are afraid of dating a girl?"

"Shut up, I don't know how to do this!"

"It's really simple!" He replies

"Then ask Hitomi out dumbass."

"Urr... she's different!"

"Not really, you have loved her for years now, yet you-you keep getting cold feet at the last moment and don't ask her out!"

"Look... I'm not ready yet!"

"When will you be ready!?"

"Just go hurry up!"

I rushed around calling Kanade-san as I got ready and informing her about what I wanted to do today, and soon enough I knocked on her door, which swung open quickly.

"Morning Hajime-tan!"

"Good morning, Kanade..."

"...Just Kanade?"

"Is it okay to say your name without the honorific? I've been calling Ririka and Raden by their names without one for a while, and it would be odd to keep using them with my girlfriend, you know."

"I'm fine with it..." Kanade said while blushing, "Hajime, can I call you that?"

"Of course it wouldn't be fair if only I dropped the honorific!" I awkwardly say.

Kanade and I stood there for a moment, not knowing what to say to each other, until Kanade finally broke the silence.

"So... on our next break, can you come to Korea with me to meet my parents? My mom and dad would like to meet you-I kind of already told them all about you!"

"Ah, I would love to... I, uh, haven't told my parents about you yet. They actually lost hope that I would get with someone because I am so violent it was either Ririka or no one."

"You aren't violent; you are a sweetheart!"

"Kanade, don't say stuff like that!"

"Can we go?" Kanade abruptly says.

"Ah, yes!!!"

We began to leave the studio. This is quite odd; we usually have stuff to talk about, but all of a sudden we can't say anything.

"Kanade, you know how our dorms are next to each other? Maybe you should move in with me-if you want to, you know!"

"That... I have to think about that! Aren't the dorms too small as well? We would need more space, and besides, your brother is staying with you, so there are a lot of issues."
