[Kanade pov]
"Kanade-chan Happy Birthday!" Ao-san giggled. Her face was covered with blush. Her deep voice was piercing deep into me, almost seductive.
"Thank you!" I say
Raden glared at Ao-san and rolled her eyes. "You think you are slick. Ao-kun..." She sighs, "By the way, happy birthday!" She told me I tilted my head, confused about the first part, but went with it.
"Thank you, Raden!" I say
"Can you give me a birthday kiss?" She asks
"No," I boldly tell her, only to get a laugh from her.
"I was joking!" She told me
"You better have been!" I pout, so Raden reassured me that she was joking, and her doting on me seemed to make Ao-san upset.
"Stop bothering her..." Ao-san sighed, almost like a low growl, at Raden. The girl backed away and whispered something in her ear that made Ao-san finally stop her warning growl.
"The other two are late!" Raden shouts
"Of course they are..." Ao-san scoffs
"Riri and Banchou are usually early!" Raden yelled at Ao-san.
"Banchou promised she would be here, and I trust her!" I told Ao-san
"Ban Ban Ban! Banchou has arrived!" Hajime-tan shouts; she rushed in and hugged me, "Happy Birthday, Kanade-san!" She told me
I couldn't help but blush at her touch. She was being so bold by hugging me, and I liked it a lot.
"Hajime, maybe you should relax." Shachou laughed as she saw her hug me as soon as she got inside.
"I brought a cake," Shachou told us as she fully entered the place. She placed the cake down and sat right beside Ao-san, laughing, "You are so annoying." She told her while leaning on her shoulder.
"How cute!" I giggle
Ao-san's face seemed to grow red. I assume she was flustered because she and Shachou have been really cute together lately.
"Oh, I bought you a gift!" Banchou suddenly told me. I looked at her in awe, then tilted my head.
"Isn't the gift of your being here?" I ask
Hajime-tan was taken aback by my words, "That's weird." She said to me, I shrug it off. I think it is cute. Besides, that is what I wanted to say. I want to be her girlfriend after all.
"Hajime I think you being here for her was a gift in itself because you are a really busy woman and you don't have much time for friends." Shachou said
"Ririka, why have you been weird lately?" Hajime-tan asks
"I haven't been weird; just focus on the birthday girl." Ririka told her I noticed her hand was around Ao-san's arm and she was squeezing it pretty roughly. I guess Ao-san is a masochist or whatever.
"Oh! Anyway, happy birthday!" She said it again while handing me my birthday present. I grabbed it and opened it slowly, taking a peek at it.
"This is a penguin stuff animal." I question
"Sorry, I didn't know what to get you, so I got something that I would buy, to be honest." Hajime-tan admitted
"Tsk..." Ao-san scoffs
"What was that for?" Raden asks Ao-san
Ao-san sighs "nothing..." She muttered
"Stop being pissy." Shachou told her
Banchou looked at me since I was silent. She reached out and said, "If you want, I can get you something else, so feel free to tell me if you don't want it!" She honestly said
"Hajime-tan, I love it." I cried out, hugging the plush. She seemed surprised by my tears, and a bit worried about my tears, she reached for her pocket, handing me a handkerchief she had.
"Don't cry!" She told me, but I didn't stop. "Why are you crying!?" She asked with genuine concern.
"How obvious is she?" Ao-san sighs
Shachou and Raden both hit her over the head. "She is just happy!" Shachou said this to Banchou, who was still confused about the tears.
"Are you confused because you are afraid to show emotions now?" I tease
"Gah-you know the reason, brat!" Hajime-tan shouted at me.
"Brat!? You are brattier than me!" I yell
"Huh, do you want to fight!?" Banchou asks
"Yeah, let's go!" I told her.
We both ended up breaking out into laughter, seemingly confusing Ao-san. "Kanade-chan, you and Banchou were just fighting, so why are you now laughing?" She questions
"We just play around!" I told her I noticed Raden trying to sneak a piece of cake. "Someone wants cake..." I sigh
"Hehe, I want your cake!" Raden giggles
"Be quiet!" I shout at her.
"Don't harass her..." Ao-san groans
"Okay, says you..." Shachou whistles
"Don't fight me..." Ao-san said
"I can do what I want anyway; let's have cake!" Ririka sang
The candles were placed in the cake and placed in front of me. Shachou lit the candles. "Let's sing to her!" Shachou said
The three of them sang to me, and then it was time to blow out my candles. I took a deep breath and blew them out, but they re-lit "Trick candles?" I sigh
"Oops, did Hitomi accidentally give me the trick candles?" Ririka asks with a sarcastic tone.
"You witch!" I squeal
Hajime-tan thought about something now: "Did you make a wish?" Hajime-tan asks, and I shake my head, almost forgetting.
"Let me make a wish!" I say
What do I want?
I want Hajime-tan to hug me; that is all I want, and that is what I wish for. I took a deep breath and blew out the candles, but then I suddenly felt lightheaded, falling over a bit. "Watch out!!" Hajime-tan said, grabbing me; she wrapped her arms around me tightly. "Are you okay!?" She asks
"Now I am..." I tell her I feel my face heat up, but I quickly hide my blush from her so as not to worry her.
"Let's continue the party then!" She said
I am already satisfied. I got what I wanted.
