"Fucking Jack what the fuck is wrong with you man? You piece of shi.."

"What the hell are you doing?"

The fist dropped from the side of his head where he'd been beating himself, stopping to take in the smaller girl. Her eyes blew wide at the sputtering he gave instead of an answer, "Nevermind I don't care."

He watched Josie walk away, continuing on her shift. His hands fisted before he ran up to her again much to her displeasure. "What?"

"Heard from Ira you were down in the bunker. With someone who looked a lot like Liam. It's strange, he said you were down there on my orders but I don't remember giving you any."

"Well we're all aware your home life is a little rough, maybe all those hits to the head have you slipping up. I could've sworn your words were 'Liam' and 'deep end'."

Her edged voice cut off as he gripped her jumper, yanking her close. "Cut the shit. Keep him away, that's what I told you. You've got no idea the hell you put him in!"

"Me?! It's not my fault your freak boyfriend isn't as slow as you two. And it's not my fault he was down there to begin with, that was all you. I've got my own shit to deal with so if we're done here boss, I've got work to do."

Jack dropped the hand just as she shoved it away, storming off to kill some walkers probably. He hissed under his breath, brushing his hand over his hair, just barely resisting pulling it out. What the fuck was he gonna do?

After only a moments thought, he sighed. "..damn it." He left the walls, b-lining for the bunkers. His father was sick, delusional. He couldn't remember if it was just the power that got to him or if he was always like that.

The army days took a toll on his body, when he got back he poured himself into politics. A powerful politician with charisma and military connections. It wasn't a suprise when he showed up with a whole caravan of soldiers, ordering people around.

"Chop it off." Dad was the one that gave the order, first thing he did when he saw the marks. His father saved him, Jack knew he should be grateful. He tried his best to live up to the exceptions, to fulfil the debt it seemed he hold over his head.

For the past couple years and even before, that's all his life was. Taking orders, doing jobs..killing. All these fucked up things and for what? For a father who he wasn't sure even..fuck..

"You can't be here, man. Boss's orders." Ira tried, much to Jacks amusement. One look was enough to silence him. He held out a defensive hand, taking a step back where Jack headed to the one sided mirror.

Just on the other side sat a familiar figure, strapped down to the medical chair Jack had seen so many times by now. His insides burned at the thought of Liam being its next and possibly final victim.

"What's the purpose of this?" Everette asked from the sidelines where one of the assistants had stripped Liam of his shirt, all that remained being that wrap he always wore. The man remained unfazed, eyes cold. Keep it up man, don't let them see you weak.

Liam gave no response and dad nodded, the assistant following after with a pair of clippers. The chest was exposed to the room of doctors and every soldier on his side of the mirror. It could practically pass as baby fat, hardly noticeable but shock was quick to turn into laughter.

"Knew we should've done that pool, told you it was a freak." One of the younger men muttered, nudging Ira who scoffed with disgusted eyes taking Liam in. As if he genuinely couldn't process what he was looking at.

"You men have jobs, right? Go do them."

"Oh come on, it's a joke. Don't get your panties all knotted." He spoke under his breath. The sentence was cut off as the near 170 pounds of muscle was lifted off the ground, Jack's single hand wringing his throat.
