"I am a fucking badass." Cam hissed, aiming down the sites of his scope where he'd just scared the literal shit out of some purge looking wannabes.

The smile tugged at his lips just as the rustling of something below him drew him from his well earned self inflation. He looked down just in time to see a figure pulling back into a window a few stories down.

"He-" Cam began to call before stopping himself. That was dumb, wasn't it? What if he just imagined it? What if it was one of the bad dudes? He didn't stick around long to wonder, checking his friends safety through his scope a final time. "Oh shit Chang, damn!"

He smiled wide, hyping her on from a distance as the man rocked back and forth like a baby. In Cam's personal opinion, scoping took just a bit more skill and..oh how to put i- talent. But he would be the first to admit that was cold, even for her.

Cameron gripped his gun, red curls bouncing over his eyes as he turned up on the room the stranger  had been in. 2 stories down, 4 from the entrance. He slowed at the empty room and untouched bed.

"I swear there was.."

He scratched at his head a bit, going to lean out the window to the fire escape as if it would somehow solve his problem. He shook his head when he found nothing, eyes settling on the store across the way where he knew the boys were waiting.

"Looking for something?" Slow footsteps closed in behind him. Cameron paused briefly where he'd half way turned. He risked glancing over his raised arms in and his eyes blew wide.

Like that slow motion scene in any crappy romcom, sparkles clouded his vision and some 90's r&b's was sounding off somewhere he was sure. A girl- nay
~woman~ with silver flowing hair stood with the bow drawn to his face, black muted clothing popping against her pale skin, blue eyes, and button nose.

"Holy shit, you're beautiful."

"What?" The weapon tipped a little in her surprise. Cam shook his head, what an idiot. He made a show of setting down his gun, throwing in a bow while he was down there.

"I'm Cameron, hi how you doin'? You can put that down now, I don't bite. There you go." He slapped it away lightly, stepping up with a bright smile. A scowl grew on her face along with a blush where he stood over her.

"I know you saw. You with those masked guys? Cause they started it, we were only protecting our girl Chang. She's the lady that runs the shop over there. I don't know if you saw but uh, I'm pretty slick with rifle you know-

"Be quiet."

"No, I like to talk and if this is gonna work you're gonna have to get to know me first."

"Stop!" She clutched at his shoulder, dragging him down in a second. They'd tucked behind one of the beds just as footsteps could be heard just down the hall.

"Fucking told you, ain't nobody down here." The people faltered before the door a bit before their steps echoed further from where they hid. Cam flashed a grin up to the girl who huddled over him on the ground.

"Hi." She didn't look amused although Cam found it pretty funny. "I know a sniper glare when I see one, man. Just keep looking." They continued. Cam resisted the urge to smell her hair as she shoved off him carefully, drawing at her weapon and beginning to follow after.

"Don't," her eyes said as she glared although he continued to draw at his glock, adjusting the silencer. He wanted to prove he had the pretty strangers back. She didn't have time to argue as Cam tripped over the tip of his own shoe.
