"Now, what did I tell you about staying in wet clothes for a long time?"

"..."

"What I said?..."

A sigh. "...not to be." (Name) nodded firmly, her mouth pressed into a thin line.

"That's right, Vista-san! I told you and told you and now-" she stopped to look at the thermometer in her hands: "103°F, Vista-san! 1-0-3! You have a fever!" Vista was sitting on his bed with his arms crossed over his chest and his cheeks flushed. It was enough that he had contracted a fever during a simple mission, but being scolded by someone half his height was simply embarrassing.

"I assure you that I am fine, (Name). I am still capable of performing my duties." he tried. She shook her head.

"Nu-uh! You'll say it in bed until everything is better, no exceptions."

"(Name)..." Thatch entered the room with a smile.

"She's right. You have no choice but to stay in bed until you're better. Pops had just informed me that we have no missions scheduled for us for the next two weeks. You have nothing to worry about." Vista looked at him blankly, his eyes twitching every now and then. Eventually, he looked at (Name), admitting defeat.

"Good." he sighed. The little girl smiled. In the days that followed, (Name) was awake and asking everyone how to care for a sick person. First she approached Rakuyo, questioning him about what people should eat if they want to get better.

"If someone is sick, you should give them soup. Maybe even some ginseng tea or orange juice." he said.

"So then can you help me do something for Vista-san?" she asked hopefully. Rakuyo scratched his head.

"I don't know, (Name)..." He looked down and saw (Name) looking at him expectantly. Her eyes were wide and pleading, and her bottom lip was swollen. He glanced playfully at her: "You know I can't resist those puppy dog eyes, but how about asking Thatch? He knows how to make soup for this kind of situation."

''Okay then!''

And as expected, Thatch looked confused at a girl in front of him looking at him with puppy dog eyes.

"So does that mean you're going to help me?" Thatch smiled slightly.

"Of course. How could I say no to you?"

"Yay!" And that's how (Name) ended up carrying a small tray with a bowl of ton-jiru soup and a cup of orange juice and ginseng tea. She happily but carefully trotted to Vista's door. She carefully balanced the tray in one hand while she tapped it with the other.

"Vista-san, it's me! Can I come in?" She heard a silent 'yes' and she quickly turned the handle and loaded the tray properly. (Name) pushed the door open and closed the door once she was inside. Vista was standing on her bed with glasses on the bridge of her nose with an open book in her hand. He placed the book on the floor as the little girl presented him with the tray.

"Here you are, Vista-san!" she sang. His eyes softened.

"Thank you very much, (Name)." he muttered. He patted her head gently. She smiled at him brightly and hopped onto the bench next to his bed. Outside, the sky roared and the clouds glowed in the darkness. They talked for a long time about trivial things, but even if it was just small talk, (Name) was enjoying every second of it.Vista took off his glasses.

"Could you please put this in the drawer next to you?" he asked. She nodded and opened the drawer, but then looked curiously at a photo she saw inside.

"Vista-san...who is the boy in this photo?" she said. She then saw the strangest thing. Vista's eyes faded from their usual red, becoming a slightly cloudy black.

"He's someone I've known for a long time." he replied softly. (Name) tilted her head to the side.

"Is...he's one of the people in the stars?" He shook his head.

"No, absolutely not, but..." (Name) shook her head and sighed, giving the girl a small smile.

"In due time, (Name), I will tell the story."
